Elon Musk Buys Twitter for 44 billion

The world’s most expensive business deal has been finalized, with Elon Musk, head of US company Tesla and private space company SpaceX, agreeing to buy microblogging site Twitter for about ً 44 billion.

According to the agreement, Elon Musk will pay 54.20 Dollar per share in cash to buy Twitter.

According to reports, Elon Musk has become the sole shareholder of Twitter after the agreement. This is by far the largest bargain to be made by any private company in the world.

At WWDC 2022, Apple Will Unveil Two New Mac Devices

According to the British news agency Reuters, Elon Musk and Twitter reached a 44 billion deal on Monday, after which control of the social media platform will now be transferred to the richest man in the world. Elon Musk had offered to pay 54.20 per share for the microblogging site, signaling his intention to buy Twitter.

Under pressure, Twitter later began negotiations with Elon Musk to sell the company at a proposed price of 54.20 Dollar per share, and the deal was finalized on Monday. According to reports, after this news, the shares of Twitter have increased by about 6%.

The price increase from Proton Saga is similar to those from Kia and Changan. Nonetheless, the Saga is Pakistan’s cheapest sedan, with the potential to become one of the country’s best-selling vehicles.

Pakistan Is Expected To Increase The Price Of Electricity By PKR3.15 Per Unit

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has received a petition demanding a Rs3.15 per unit rise in power prices in March 2022 due to changes in fuel prices.

The application was sent by the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA), and it will be heard by Nepra on April 27. If the raise is accepted, the public would be saddled with a Rs30 billion charge.

According to the CPA’s appeal, a total of 10 billion units were produced in March at a cost of Rs94 billion.

In March, the CPPA notified the regulatory body that the per unit cost of power generated from thermal oil was Rs22.52, while the cost of energy generated from LNG was Rs14.36.

(IMF) Has Expressed Concern Over Pakistan’s Growing Inflation and Expanding Current Account Deficit

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Pakistan’s surging inflation and expanding current account deficit have alarmed the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to a recent assessment by the Washington-based banking organization, the South Asian country’s productivity is on the decline.

Inflation is expected to stay around 11.2 percent this year, with the current account deficit hovering at 3.5 percent of GDP.

According to the estimate, economic growth will be about 4% this year, while unemployment will be around 7% this year and 6.7 percent next year.

Meanwhile, in the aftermath of the crisis in Ukraine, the UN has cut its global growth estimates, warning that a Kremlin invasion may break the global economy into opposing blocs.

The news comes as Islamabad has formally begun discussions with the IMF on the bailout package in Washington. LAHORE, Pakistan — Due to a failure in the international submarine cable, internet users in Pakistan are expected to experience slower speeds, according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.

PTA said on social media that from 2 to 7 a.m., a power reconfiguration operation on a portion of international undersea cable, SMW4, will be carried out.

It also stated that other means would be considered to offer consumers with uninterrupted internet services in order to satisfy capacity needs and restore to full operation as soon as possible. Throughout the country, internet services will be available as normal.

Hyundai Elantra 1.6L Is Set To Debut In Pakistan This Month

By the end of April 2022, Hyundai Nishat Motors Private Limited (HNMPL) plans to debut the Hyundai Elantra 1.6L model in Pakistan. New Hyundai Elantra model will be released before Eid-ul-Fitr, although the business has yet to declare a specific date.

Hyundai will launch a 1.6L Elantra version, according to our sources. In March 2021, Hyundai debuted the Elantra in Pakistan. It’s a mid-size car that competes with the Toyota Corolla Grande and Honda Civic in the C category. Elantra had a favorable reaction for a newcomer and quickly became a favorite among many.
