Japanese manufacturers and tuners have a venue to display their most outrageous creations at the Tokyo Auto Salon. We’re already in love with Suzuki’s Super Carry Mountain Trail, a small, tough off-road idea that it’s bringing to the show.
We’re Already In Love With Suzuki’s Compact, Tough Off-Road Super Carry Mountain Trai Concept, Which Company Is Introducing To The Tokyo Auto Salon.
The Mountain Trail idea, according to a translation of Suzuki’s release, is “a car for active adults to enjoy the mountains in a stoic manner, it expresses a new worldview of commercial vehicles that can be used not only for business but also for fun.”
An expanded cab variant of the ordinary Suzuki Carry is called the Super Carry. Even though the corporation hasn’t listed every change made to the Mountain Trail, a cursory glance reveals most of the changes.
A light bar above the windshield and a front skid plate with recovery hooks are added to the little vehicle. It appears to have a little winch as well.

The doors that were standard have been replaced with tubular parts. There are harness-equipped sport seats inside. There is a roof-mounted storage rack attached to an external roll cage.
The back is hardly visible, but it does show a spare tire and a gasoline can. Furthermore, the ride height may be somewhat higher than stock.
In the event that the Super Carry’s powertrain remains unchanged, it is still equipped with enough gear to optimize off-road traction. Customers may purchase it with a four-wheel drive system that has high and low gears for part-time use. Additionally, there is a locking differential in case the road becomes really slick.
However, the standard Super Carry is not an especially strong device. It has a 658cc three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that produces 50 horsepower and 44 lb-ft of torque. You may be able to go off-road, but don’t expect to get very far very fast.
The Tokyo Auto Salon is taking place this year from January 12–14. By then, we would like to see further details and images of the proposed Super Carry Mountain Trail. It’s towing some equipment at the rear that is out of our direct line of sight.
