The Peugeot 2008 is a subcompact crossover SUV built by Stellantis, a French automaker.
In 2013, it was initially launched to the worldwide market. It had a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with a six-speed automated transmission. Depending on the engine size, it also came with a five-speed or six-speed manual transmission. It had a redesign in 2016, and six-speed automatic transmission became offered in 2017. (1.2 turbo petrol).

In 2019, Peugeot unveiled the second version of the Peugeot 2008, which was built on PSA’s new Common Modular Platform (CMP). Five internal combustion engine (ICE) variants and an electric version were announced. The e-2008 electric drive variant has a 100 kW (134 hp) electric motor and a 50 kWh battery.

Peugeot 2008 is a front-wheel drive which is powered by a 1.2L MPI Turbo PureTech engine The engine has a power of 131hp at a torque of 230 Nm. The 6-speed auto transmission provides a smooth driving experience.

Peugeot 2008’s sleek and futuristic interior sets it apart from its competitors. The interior is covered in suede-like leather and soft-feel plastic, giving it a luxurious look and feel. All of the seats are comfy and high-mounted, allowing for an excellent view of the road ahead. The new all-digital PEUGEOT 3D i-Cockpit is standard on the Peugeot 2008. The 3D i-Cockpit has a comfortable driving posture, a small steering wheel, a 7-inch HD floating capacitive touchscreen, and a customizable head-up instrument panel. It makes driving more enjoyable by offering comfort and entertainment.

A laptop-style TFT screen displays the instrument cluster. The majority of the gauges are located above the steering wheel and function in tandem with the floating center screen. All entertainment capabilities are available on the 7-inch HD floating touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on the Peugeot 2008.
It also includes four USB ports and a built-in satellite navigation system with real-time traffic updates. The Peugeot 2008 has ten speakers that give excellent sound quality.

Peugeot 2008 Exterior

The Peugeot 2008  has a distinctive appearance with crisp lines and edges that set it apart from the competition. A set of striking 3-claw trademark full LED headlights with LED daytime running lamps grace the front of the Peugeot 2008. The front bumper’s large black grille gives it a powerful, sporting appeal that complements its sharp and aggressive appearance.

Two smart LED lights are housed in the rear bumper, which are matched by a gloss black strip that runs the length of the vehicle. At the back, a purposeful spoiler and dual chrome exhaust complete the design.

A panoramic sunroof and a manual roller blind are also included on the Peugeot 2008. The subcompact SUV’s athletic flair is enhanced with 17-inch alloy wheels.
