In South Korea, the eighth-generation Sonata made its debut in 2019. It has cutting-edge features and a sporty look. The Hyundai Sonata 2.0 and Hyundai Sonata 2.5 are the two variations of the eighth generation Sonata that are offered in Pakistan.

Hyundai Sonata 2.5 Engine:

There are two different engine choices for the Hyundai Sonata:

the 2.0 and the 2.5 litre. The 2000cc naturally aspirated engine in the Hyundai Sonata 2.0 produces a maximum torque of 192/4500 Nm/Rpm and a maximum power of 152/6200 HP/Rpm.

The 2500cc naturally aspirated engine in the Hyundai Sonata 2.5 produces a maximum torque of 232/4000 Nm/Rpm and a maximum power of 180/6000 Hp/Rpm. Both models include a 6-speed automatic transmission and 2WD.

Hyundai Sonata 2.5 Interior:

The inside of the Sonata  is covered in plush two-tone camel leather. The headrests and lumbar support in the front seats are movable. Premium comfort is offered with the power-adjustable driver’s seat.

Additionally, the back seats include cup holders in the armrests and movable headrests. To boost trunk capacity, the rear seats also have a 60/40 split capability. A rear USB charging outlet and leather foamed seat corners are also included in the back seats.

The computerized 4-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel incorporates tilt and telescopic adjustment functions. The audio, MID, voice control, and cruise control controls are located on the steering wheel. A 12.3-inch high quality TFT LCD behind the steering wheel shows the critical vehicle data. The head-up display and SuperVision gauge cluster are further luxury features of the Hyundai Sonata 2.5 2023.

An 8-inch floating infotainment screen with AM/FM radio, MP3 compatibility, USB and AUX connectivity is housed in the center fascia. For visual access to the back of the automobile, the vehicle also incorporates a rearview camera. Sonata 2023 has automatic dual zone climate control, an automatic defogger, and rear AC conditioning as standard equipment.

Brake assist, electronic brake force distribution, and anti-lock braking system (ABS) are all included as standard brake features. For safer and easier parking, Sonata 2023 also has Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) and Auto Brake Hold. The auto tailgate and remote boot lid features are also supported by the vehicle.

Hyundai Sonata 2.5 Exterior:

The 8th generation Hyundai Sonata, which will debut in 2022, is renowned for its distinctive and cutting-edge design. Hyundai refers to the new Sonata’s form as “Sensuous Sportiness” and it has a fastback-like design. The car’s front has a svelte, thin grille, and LED projector headlights that extend the whole length of the hood. Daytime running lights (DRLs) and front parking sensors are likewise housed in the front.

Sonata sports C-shaped horizontal LED rear combo tail lights at the back that link with one another along the width of the vehicle, giving it a contemporary and futuristic appearance.

The vehicle has 18-inch alloy wheels and side mirrors that are electrically retractable and adjustable and equipped with LED turn signals. A shark fin antenna and a panoramic sunroof are on the roof.

Hyundai Sonata 2.5 Competitors:

Sonata lacks direct competition because it is the first locally built D-segment sedan in Pakistan. However, the vehicle will compete with two other imported D-segment sedans for sales.
