The MG U9 is a full-sized dual-cab 4×4 pickup truck powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine delivering around 164 kW (≈ 220 hp) and about 520 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive.

It features a large body (≈ 5,500 mm length, 1,997 mm width, 3,300 mm wheelbase) and is rated for up to 3,500 kg braked towing capacity and a payload of over 1,000 kg in certain variants.

Inside it offers modern tech and comfort—dual large screens, massaging driver seat, advanced driver-assist systems—while outside it brings bold design, high ground-clearance (~220 mm) and strong utility credentials with a tub size capable of handling 2.4 m loads via a smart hatch/seat arrangement.
