In 2004, Kia Picanto, a city vehicle, was introduced. It is made by the South Korean automaker KIA and is referred to by several names in Asia.

The Kia Picanto of the first generation was a five-door hatchback with two petrol engine choices. The Picanto has a turbocharged engine option and an automated transmission in addition to a ton of entertainment amenities. After then, it had two facelifts in 2007 and 2010. The facelifts only included modest aesthetic and interior modifications and the addition of the recognizable “tiger-nose grille.”

In 2011, the Picanto’s second generation was unveiled. It had a bigger design and a longer wheelbase. The Kia Picanto that is offered in Pakistan is a model from a later generation. Its 1.0 Liter petrol engine is built by Kia Lucky Motors in Pakistan. In Pakistan, it debuted in 2019.

KIA Picanto Engine:

The Picanto 2023 in Pakistan comes with a Euro 2 compliant 998cc MPI inline 3-cylinder gasoline engine. This engine generates maximum power of 69/6,200 hp/rpm at a maximum torque of 9.6/3,500 Nm/rpm.

KIA Picanto Interior:

There is enough room inside the Kia Picanto 2023 for five people in each of its models. Power steering that is motor-driven, electronic, and two-spoked. The tripmeter steering control and tilt-adjustable steering are both available. The trip computer, manual transmission shift indicator, and tachometer are shown in the instrument cluster. The back seats are equipped with headrests, ISOFIX compatibility, and seatbelts for all three occupants.

Digital clock, AUX, USB, Bluetooth music, and call functionality are all included as standard features with the Picanto. For a good audio experience, there are 4 speakers in each version. As an alternative, a 9-inch LCD player is offered.

Cupholders, help grips, a 12 volt internal accessory outlet, an ashtray, and a sunglasses holder are additional standard equipment. There are lamps in the front passenger’s footwell, the gearshift foot, the glovebox, the baggage compartment, and the overhead console. Additionally, there is a baggage compartment under the front passenger seat. More storage capacity may be created by splitting the back seats 60/40.

The Picanto features keyless entry of the folding variety. For security, it also has an immobilizer. It contains security measures including a burglar alarm and central door locking. Airbags are also on the front seats. Additionally, it includes a manual heating and cooling system. With the assistance of the anti-lock braking system, driving is made simpler (ABS).

KIA Picanto Exterior:

The Kia Picanto 2023 has a small body and has the brand’s distinctive tiger-nose grille, which has a chrome outline and black mesh. Additionally, the front end is home to daytime running lights and multi-focus reflector headlights. Rear combination lighting and a wiper for the rear screen are included at the back. At the back, there is a functional spoiler as well as a defogger for the rear screen. The vehicle also boasts heated and electrically adjustable side mirrors.
