After 27 Years, India Will Host The 71st Miss World In 2023

India will host the 71st Miss World Final, according to the Miss World Organization, making a successful comeback after an almost three-decade hiatus.
The famous beauty pageant, which was last hosted in India in 1996, will bring together competitors from more than 130 nations to display their special abilities, curiosities, and compassion in a series of demanding contests, according to the Hindustan Times.
With The Miss World Pageant, India Has A Fascinating History
The 71st Miss World Final will now be held in India, announced Julia Morley, Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organization, who said, “I am happy to announce India as the new home of the Miss World Final! India has always held a special place in my heart ever since I first travelled there more than 30 years ago! We can’t wait to introduce the rest of the globe to your distinctive and varied culture, top-notch landmarks, and gorgeous settings.

Although the precise date for the grand finale has not yet been determined, it is anticipated to occur in November or December of this year.
The Miss World Festival will take place over the course of a month, and many rounds will be used to narrow the field of candidates before the new Miss World is officially crowned.

After original plans to hold the contest in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the announcement was made. Morley has earlier said that the UAE will host the 2023 Miss World pageant. The prestigious event has now returned to India, a dynamic and culturally rich country, thanks to a change in plans.
With Reita Faria being the first-ever Miss World from India in 1966, India has a wonderful history in the Miss World pageant. Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and most recently Manushi Chillar (2017) are other famous Indian winners.
As the current Miss India World 2022, Sini Shetty will proudly represent her nation and highlight its brilliance and beauty at the Miss World 2023 pageant.
