Apple Will Launch Mixed Reality Headset

Apple Will Launch Mixed Reality Headset

June 5, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Tech News

The “Reality Pro,” as it is rumored to be called, may pit Apple and Meta against one another in a technical battle where the physical and digital worlds collide.

Apple Inc. is anticipated to introduce new mixed-reality headgear on Monday at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference in California. Apple has been promoting augmented reality features for its iPhones and iPads since 2017.

It would be the tech giant’s biggest product launch since the 2015 debut of the Apple Watch.

The iPhone manufacturer has thus far restricted its augmented reality efforts to software compatible with its current products. However, it appears that it will make use of the newest technological generation, where the physical and virtual worlds merge.

With the much awaited headgear, Apple will face off against Facebook’s parent company Meta, which has been striving for years to promote its alternative digital environment, or the “metaverse.”

What is known about the “Reality Pro” headset from Apple

According to media sources quoting experts, Apple is anticipated to highlight a “Reality Pro” headset, with a price tag of roughly $3,000 and specially developed software for the equipment that may resemble a pair of ski goggles.

A sleek Apple family design is anticipated for the goggles, along with the option to switch between virtual and augmented reality, often known as mixed reality or external reality (XR).

Although there are huge expectations for Apple to offer innovative technologies, the goggle’s expensive price may disappoint many ardent supporters.

Apple could only sell 150,000 pieces of the headset during its first year on the market, according to analyst Dan Ives of Wedbush Securities. This is a low number for a firm that yearly sells more than 200 million units of its flagship product, the iPhone.

China Gets Ready To Launch Its First Civilian Into Space

China Gets Ready To Launch Its First Civilian Into Space

May 30, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Tech News

As part of a crewed mission to the Tiangong space station on Tuesday, China will launch its first civilian astronaut as part of the country’s ambitious aspirations for a human lunar landing by 2030.

The second-largest economy in the world has poured billions of dollars into its military-run space project in an effort to overtake the United States and Russia after years of lagging behind.

All Chinese astronauts sent into space up until this point have been PLA members.

The mission’s scientific investigations would be overseen by Gui Haichao, a professor at Beijing’s Beihang University, said Lin Xiqiang, a spokesman for the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).

The purpose of his mission is to “carry out large-scale, in-orbit experiments… in the study of novel quantum phenomena, high-precision space time-frequency systems, the verification of general relativity, and the origin of life,” according to Lin.

Gui said during a news briefing on Monday, “I’ve always had this desire.

His college said that he was from a “ordinary family” in the Yunnan region of the southwest.

According to an institution post on social media, he “first felt the attraction of aerospace” while listening to campus radio news on Yang Liwei, China’s first space traveler, in 2003.

Independent analyst Chen Lan stated that Gui’s presence is “particularly significant” considering that prior flights only carried astronauts trained as pilots who were in charge of more technical responsibilities rather than specialized scientists.

‘GTA 6’ Is Expected To Be The Most Expensive Game Yet, Breaking The Bank

‘GTA 6’ Is Expected To Be The Most Expensive Game Yet, Breaking The Bank

May 17, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Tech News

New RPGs and adventure games are quickly evolving into contemporary blockbusters, with price tags to match, as the video game business has grown into a multi-billion dollar industry with a global audience.

The amount of money needed to create and promote games has grown tremendously, with most AAA titles now having budgets excess of USD$100 million. However, according to recent estimates, the next Grand Theft Auto game may top all others as the most costly video game ever created.

Grand Theft Auto 6, a highly anticipated game by Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive Software, is expected to have a massive production budget of “USD $1-2 billion” after accounting for marketing expenses, according to Dexerto.

Last year, GTA 6 saw a significant leak that exposed video of the game’s early builds and a tone of incomplete gameplay, prompting Rockstar Games to affirm that it is really working diligently on the following installment. However, the studio hasn’t spoken anything about the incident since then and has maintained total radio quiet about it.

The cost of creating video games has significantly increased in recent years, in part due to the lengthier production cycles and current games’ growing complexity and size. Given Rockstar’s concern with little details and how sophisticated and expansive its games are, GTA 6 is one of the most eagerly awaited games of the decade and there is a potential that it might increase production expenses.

GTA 6 has also been under production for about ten years, and the longer it takes to create a game, the more money it will cost.

For comparison, the outrageous cost of making GTA 5 was believed to be USD$265 million (AUD$396 million) when it was published back in 2013. In spite of its astronomical price tag, GTA 5 surpassed all predictions on launch day, earning nearly USD$800 million (AUD$1.2 billion) in hard currency. And it hasn’t stopped there. The game is still doing well thanks to re-releases for the next generation and the consistently well-liked and expanding GTA Online.

As of 2023, GTA 5 had earned USD$7.7 billion (AUD$11.4 billion) for Take-Two and was still a huge money producer for the business. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a leap to see GTA 6 approaching or even exceeding the billion-dollar threshold given those figures. Prepare yourselves, people!

Star Citizen, a crowdfunded game that has managed to accrue around half a billion dollars since 2012, is currently the most costly game in the world. It’s wise to approach any information about GTA 6’s budget with a healthy grain of cynicism because Rockstar Games hasn’t verified any of it and much of it is just conjecture based on the information available.

The Most Powerful And Expensive Sony Sensor Will Be Used In The iPhone 15 Pro Max

April 23, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Tech News

When it comes to the sensors utilized in its iPhone cameras, Apple is renowned for being conservative. They have never given attention to dimensions or resolution. The primary camera in the iPhone 15 Pro Max, though, could have the industry’s most cutting-edge sensor. even without dozens or even hundreds of MP.

A NEW STANDARD IN SMARTPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY, THE IPHONE 15 PRO MAX CAMERA?

Ice Universe, a well-known industry insider, reports that the sensor in issue is the Sony IMX903. It is a member of the top tier of sensors. According to the optical format of the IMX903, which is 1/1.14 inches, Apple will use a sensor that is nearly an inch in size, much like Honour did with its Magic5 Pro, which is presently second in the DxOMark rankings.

Samsung’s 200MP HP2 sensor will not perform as well as the Sony IMX903. It boasts a 20% increase in light capture, and it includes hardware compatibility for 14-bit DNG RAW. The resolution of these sensors is the sole distinction. Sony’s sensor has 48 megapixels whereas Samsung’s sensor has 200 megapixels.

Digital Insider Chat Additionally, according to Statin, the Sony IMX903 could cost more than the Sony IMX989 inch sensor. There is proof that the IMX903, although having a sensor that is smaller than an inch across, costs twice as much.

According to Ice Universe’s tweet, this alters their perception of Apple’s commitment to the camera. Insiders claim that if all goes as planned, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will develop into a superb camera phone that might eventually outperform the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in terms of image and video quality.

It’s crucial to remember that, even while the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s camera is a vital feature, it’s not the only one that will set it apart. A strong A17 processor, 5G connection, and maybe a redesigned design are anticipated for the gadget.

Apple is also well known for emphasizing software, thus the iPhone 15 Pro Max is anticipated to include cutting-edge photography functions and editing tools to improve the user experience. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is shaping out to be a fantastic new gadget overall. It may establish a new benchmark for smartphone cameras.

The Cost And Delivery Date For The Hyperkin Xbox 360 Gamepad Have Been Announced

The Cost And Delivery Date For The Hyperkin Xbox 360 Gamepad Have Been Announced

March 17, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Tech News

The Xbox 360 controller remake from Hyperkin is getting closer to release, which is good news for young players who miss the original. Hyperkin first revealed the Xenon gamepad back in November, but little concrete information was provided besides some models and the understanding that this reprint will be a USB-C wired-only reprisal for Xbox Series X / S and PC.

According to Hyperkin, preorders for the Xenon gamepad will open on May 5 and the device will go on sale on June 6 at the latest.

The new Xbox 360 controller will cost $49.99 in white, black, red, or pink if you feel strongly enough about the original Xbox 360 joystick to want to purchase a reissue that does without wireless communication and the iconic green LED-surrounded guide button.

The Xenon is significantly less expensive than Hyperkin’s Duke, a replica of the enormous gamepad from the original Xbox that costs $90 when not significantly discounted. And given that the Xbox 360 joystick served as the model for the majority of contemporary gamepads, I’d bet it’s a much more functional device for modern titles.

The Xenon shouldn’t disfavor the user with oddly attached bumper controls, unlike a Duke. The Xbox 360 iteration had every button we use today, and the Xenon will have all of those buttons in addition to the View and Share controls and a 3.5mm headphone port found on the current standard Xbox gamepad.

Are your rose-colored spectacles strong enough to convince you that the Xbox gamepad, which has been around for almost 18 years, needs to be updated? (Yes, the Xbox 360 can almost cast a ballot. We ancient).

According To Reports, A New Counter-Strike Game Is Being Developed & Might Release This Month

According To Reports, A New Counter-Strike Game Is Being Developed & Might Release This Month

March 8, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Tech News

According to Rumours, Valve will shortly start beta testing the “CS:GO” sequel.

After more than ten years, Valve is apparently getting ready to reveal a new iteration of its iconic tactical game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Furthermore, a beta release may show up as early as this month. A successor to CS:GO has been under development by Valve for a while, according to esports writer Richard Lewis (via VGC), and it is “almost ready to go.” He claims that the game’s first-person shooter just had a covert playtest inside the studio, attended by a number of professional gamers who travelled to Seattle.

Lewis claims that by April 1st at the latest, Valve hopes to start beta testing the game with the larger Counter-Strike community. One of Lewis’ sources told him, “The key goal is getting this out and then refining it, correcting any issues and bringing it up to the quality people expect from CS.

Regarding enhancements, it is said that Source 2, the most recent version of Valve’s proprietary game engine, would be used behind the scenes in the next Counter-Strike, which will supposedly have better graphical fidelity. Lewis also claims that the game will work with 128-tick servers, bringing CS into line with Valorant and lowering latency.

The matching experience is also believed to have been considerably enhanced by Valve, which should reduce the community’s reliance on other services like FACEIT. When Engadget asked Valve for a response, no one at Valve responded right away.

Although rumor’s about a new Counter-Strike game’s forthcoming release have been circulating for years, this most recent story is more credible for a number of reasons. First off, Richard Lewis, the journalist who broke the news, has a solid track record. In 2015, Lewis revealed that a top-tier professional CS:GO squad had purposefully tossed a match.

Second, his statements are supported by supporting evidence. Early this month, some CS:GO fans uncovered references to “csgo2.exe” and “cs2.exe” in Nvidia’s GPU drivers going back to February.

Although there have long been rumours that a new Counter-Strike game is imminent, there are a few reasons to give this most recent story more credence. Lewis has a proven track record, to begin with. He published a report in 2015 that supported claims that one of the top professional CS:GO teams at the time had deliberately blown a match.

Moreover, there is evidence to back up his assertions. Around the start of the month, a few CS:GO enthusiasts unearthed proof that NVIDIA’s GPU drivers had included references to “csgo2.exe” and “cs2.exe” since February.

According to sources, Valve wants to release and polish the game to satisfy fans’ expectations before starting beta testing with the larger Counter-Strike community no later than April 1st.

According to rumor’s, the forthcoming edition of Counter-Strike will include upgraded visuals due to a shift to Source 2, Valve’s latest in-house game engine. Also, according to reports, the game will feature 128-tick servers, which will lower latency and align CS with Valorant.

Moreover, Valve has significantly enhanced the matchmaking process, potentially lessening the community’s reliance on other services like FACEIT.

For the moment, Realme has not revealed any details regarding all the technical specifications of the new smartphone, except for the presence of 240 W rapid charging.

More details regarding the technical specifications of the device should emerge already in the course of the next few days.

The new Realme GT3 could be a rebranding of the GT Neo5 presented in China. The smartphone in question presents the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, an AMOLED display of 6.7 inches diagonally and the same rear design that appears in the official teaser released in Queste ore by Realme.

Leaks, Rumors, & Everything We Know So Far About the Apple iPhone 15 Pro

Leaks, Rumors, & Everything We Know So Far About the Apple iPhone 15 Pro

February 22, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Tech News

With the iPhone 14 Pro, Apple made substantial advancements, and the iPhone 15 Pro is anticipated to carry on the trend in 2023. There are rumor’s of an iPhone 15 Ultra as well, which some people think will carry on the legacy of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Discover the most recent rumor’s and leaks regarding the iPhone 15 Pro.

Rumors and Leaks About the New Features of the iPhone 15 Pro

Yet there’s a chance the design will change dramatically. In one of his articles, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg observes that Apple typically redesigns the iPhone every three years. Three generations prior to the upcoming iPhone 15, the iPhone 12 introduced the current flat-edged design.

This suggests that 2023 may look different. With the iPhone 15 Pro, Apple could move back to rounded edges, which are more ergonomic given the weight of previous iPhones. The iPhone 15 Pro’s look might potentially be affected by this. In addition, a long-rumored component of the iPhone’s chassis may be titanium.

Another design speculation suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro’s camera bump may have a different appearance. Despite the rumors’ lack of detail, it appears from recently leaked photographs that it will be thicker and larger than previously.

To suit the new design, there can be a slight tilt in the display. As a result, adding aftermarket screen coverings could be challenging.

Design:

According to a recent claim by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the Dynamic Island will be present on every variant of the iPhone 15 like it was on its immediate forerunner. This could inspire other programmers to make programmed that utilize the morphing camera cutout/display feature, increasing the technology’s possibilities.

There are no signs that Apple may change the iPhone 15 Pro’s screen size. Several people (including some Tom’s Guide workers) prefer the 6.1-inch form factor since it has stood the test of time. Also anticipated to stay is the always-on display.

Camera:

Due in part to the enhanced 48MP main sensor, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are among the best camera phones. With all 48 megapixels in RAW photos, it can take outstanding images.

On the iPhone 15, Apple will purportedly use Sony’s brand-new “state-of-the-art” sensor, according to reports. By increasing the pixel saturation levels, this sensor may be able to enhance the over- and underexposure correction on the iPhone 15 Pro. This would be great because the iPhone 14 Pro struggles a little with exposure control in challenging lighting situations.

According to reports, the A17 Bionic will really be produced using a 3nm technology, which might improve both performance and power efficiency. Hence, even if the A16 Bionic is exceptional, its sequel could be much better. The company that makes Apple’s silicon, TSMC, expects a 35% boost in power efficiency utilizing the 3nm process and has started mass production on its new 3nm chip. This is encouraging for the iPhone 15 Pro’s battery life.

Models of the iPhone 15 Pro will employ Qualcomm’s X70 modem processor. With improved Intelligence, Qualcomm’s X70 CPU offers faster processing times, broader coverage, a stronger signal, lower latency, and up to 60% better energy efficiency.

Software:

A new version of Apple’s iPhone operating system called iOS 17 will almost probably launch with the iPhone 15 Pro. The June Global Developer Conference will once again offer a sneak peek of the new features of the software upgrade. The summer will see a public beta, and the fall will see a full release.

Other Qualities

Like us, many believe Apple will eventually replace the Lightning port on the iPhone in 2023 with the USB-C standard mandated by the European Union, starting in December 2024.

The new iPhone 15 Pro, in conclusion, seems to be an interesting addition to the Apple portfolio. Both seasoned Apple users and newcomers will be impressed by its cutting-edge functionality and sophisticated appearance.

A smooth user experience and additional chances for creativity and productivity are predicted for the Apple iPhone 15 Pro smartphone due to the rumored changes to the camera system, CPU, and display. Of course, we won’t know whether the reports are genuine until after the official release.

Facebook Owner Meta Will Provide Paid Subscription Services

Facebook Owner Meta Will Provide Paid Subscription Services

February 21, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Tech News

CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed on Sunday that Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram, will establish a premium membership service with a starting price of $11.99 per month that will allow users to verify their accounts. Elon Musk had already made a similar step at Twitter.

Users will be able to verify a “account with a government ID, get a blue badge, get enhanced impersonation protection against accounts pretending to be you, and get direct access to customer support,” according to Zuckerberg. Meta Verified will launch this week, starting in Australia and New Zealand.

In a message uploaded on his Facebook account, he said, “This new feature is about boosting authenticity and security across our services.”

The business added that verified Facebook and Instagram profiles will remain the same and that only people who are at least 18 years old would be permitted to subscribe. Businesses are not yet able to use the service.

In nations where users cannot afford to pay $12 a month or in cash-based economies where they may have fewer options for sending the money to Meta, Zuckerberg’s pricing plans for Meta Verified were not immediately evident.

Musk’s first attempts to provide a comparable service at rival social media network Twitter last year failed horribly, scaring away advertisers and raising serious concerns about the site’s sustainability.

He was had to temporarily halt the initiative before resuming it in December to lukewarm response.

Facebook played a key role in establishing the dominant business model of the internet’s largest platforms, which rewards users with “free” services that gather and sell their personal data to advertisers.

After the California-based company’s IPO in 2012, Meta experienced a drop in ad income in 2022.

Facebook’s daily users just surpassed two billion, according to the company, but due to inflation cutting into advertisers’ budgets and tough competition from applications like TikTok, those users aren’t generating as much cash as they once did.

The corporation has also been harmed by legislative changes brought about by iPhone manufacturer Apple, which limit social networks’ capacity to collect data and monetize advertising.

Similar reasons have previously prompted the development of premium subscriptions on other networks, including Reddit, Snapchat, and of course, Twitter.

Meanwhile, Meta is under criticism for taking a big chance on the metaverse, a virtual reality environment that Zuckerberg thinks will be the online space’s next frontier.

Investors penalized Meta last year, pushing the stock down an astounding two thirds in only one year, but in 2023, the price has somewhat recovered.

The biggest employment decrease in business history, 11,000 layoffs at Meta, or 13% of the workforce, were announced in November.
