Nexgen Auto has expanded its array of hybrid SUVs in Pakistan by announcing the official ex-factory introduction prices of the JAECOO J5 SHS HEV.
The JAECOO J5 SHS HEV Comfort and JAECOO J5 SHS HEV Premium are priced at Rs. 6,699,000 and Rs. 7,699,000, respectively, according to the firm. The initial pricing will be in effect until March 10, 2026, according to Nexgen.
There will be two versions of the JAECOO J5 available. The top-spec model has a front-wheel drive system and a 1.5-liter turbocharged hybrid engine that generates 221 horsepower and 295 Nm of torque.
With a 1.83 kWh hybrid battery and a stated fuel efficiency of 18.8 km/l, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The dimensions of the J5 are 4,380 mm for length, 1,860 mm for width, 1,650 mm for height, and 2,620 mm for wheelbase.
The top-spec version has a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone temperature control, and an 18-inch alloy wheel arrangement. The car has an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-speaker audio system, and a 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Six airbags, a 540-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are among the safety features.
Wireless charging, soundproof glass, heated side mirrors, anti-pinch windows, ventilated front seats, and Type-C charging outlets are additional amenities.

This is How Much Emission Testing Will Cost After The June 30th Deadline

The government now intends to transfer accountability to private car dealerships throughout the city, with the free Emission Testing System (ETS) program in Lahore scheduled to expire on June 30.
After the free service ends, ETS-related services will be contracted out to dealerships of all auto and vehicle manufacturing enterprises in Lahore, according to Environment Protection and Climate Change Department Secretary Raja Jahangir Anwar.
These dealerships will have trained personnel to do emission testing and ETS equipment. Owners of vehicles must pay Rs. 400 for each test at these locations.
The agency thinks this approach will greatly boost the number of automobiles that are evaluated. According to Raja Jahangir Anwar, offering the service through approved dealerships would increase car owners’ comfort and efficiency, particularly since demand for the service keeps rising.
With 20 sites spread around Lahore, the ETS program was first introduced as a free service. Three squads are normally housed at each facility; nevertheless, lengthy lines and complaints of delays have brought attention to the system’s shortcomings.
After enough cars have been tested under the new approach, the government intends to expedite the emission testing procedure and proceed with wider enforcement.

At the Goodwood Festival Of Speed Red Bull Will Unveil The RB17 Hypercar

The Advanced Technologies division of Red Bull’s Formula 1 team announced intentions to introduce their own £5 million hypercar, designed by Newey, in June 2022.
The vehicle will have a V10 engine and a carbon fiber transmission mounted on a two-seat carbon fiber monocoque chassis. Red Bull built all 50 of the cars internally, and only those will be produced.
The RB17 will be introduced on Friday 12 July in the Cathedral paddock at Goodwood and be on display for the full event.
The hypercar will be part of the team’s F1 car heritage, since the RB17 name was dropped in favor of the RB16B for the 2021 model, which was necessary due to COVID-19-related part carryover.
Since Newey has stated he would be leaving the Formula One team in early 2025, this will also be his last vehicle for Red Bull.
Red Bull CEO Christian Horner stated, “We are thrilled to introduce the RB17 to the public for the first time and couldn’t think of a better global platform than Goodwood Festival of Speed.”
“The RB17 radiates superior engineering and uniqueness. We are eager for the audience to see the ultimate performance automobile that we have created using all we know about racing.

The world believed this was it when Tesla eventually debuted the much-anticipated and delayed futuristic Cybertruck. The Cybertruck was completed and prepared to upend our world, signaling the arrival of the future. Not quite so quickly, though.

To be honest, though, Cybertruck is an incredible electric car, whether you like it or not. There’s no other vehicle like it, for the simple reason that no other corporation would ever take the chance of even trying to imagine creating one, much less risking its future and releasing the product to the public.
This explains why it appears like Tesla has a devoted following of cult-like fans and a sizable client base. Now enough with the distraction; let’s get back to the Cybertruck.
Not all was as it seemed when the Cybertruck eventually left the factory and the first, although sluggish, deliveries began to arrive. After the much-discussed panel gap issues were resolved and the truck itself was built, the new owners soon discovered that the driving experience differed greatly from what they had learned from earlier Teslas. Team Blue and Kawasaki declared their intention to collaborate on the development of hydrogen engines in January 2022. Although Yamaha has stated that it is interested in investigating the potential of hydrogen power for applications beyond low-speed golf cars (or golf carts), it appears that Suzuki and Kawasaki are the only two businesses that have unveiled designs for hydrogen-powered two-wheeled vehicles thus far.

Introducing The Eye Catching New Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 Electric Truck

The German automaker expects that the new Mercedes eActros 600, a 600kW, 44-ton electric truck, will “define a new standard in freight transport.”
With 50 prototype vehicles already in production, the new electric truck, which is expected to arrive by the end of 2024, will compete with new vehicles from Scania and Renault.

The massive 600kWh battery, which is composed of three 207kWh battery packs for a total of 621kWh, is the most remarkable aspect of the new e-truck.
Mercedes said that the technology in the new e-truck gave the same degree of durability as a normal truck, with the new eActros capable of 1.2m km in 10 years of operation. As a result, the company decided to employ lithium-ion phosphate battery cells to ensure a longer service life.
The eActros 600 has a range of up to 500 km (310 miles) thanks to its massive battery, however the range when the truck is completely loaded has not been revealed.
Mercedes states that the eActros should be able to travel more than 1000 km (600 miles) per day with interim recharge during scheduled driver breaks. Mercedes claims that it will refit its models with megawatt charging capabilities, meaning that an eActros may be charged at up to 400kW. This should enable a 20–80% charge to be completed in around 30 minutes with a single megawatt charger.

According to Mercedes, most long-distance trips taken by Mercedes truck customers in Europe are less than 500 km, thus fleets would only need to add charging at loading and depot locations.
From a distance, the eActros’s styling is significantly different from that of its ICE-powered sister, almost like a Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet.
The eActros’s cab design is heavily influenced by aerodynamics; the front end has an optimized bumper with underbody paneling and a fully closed-off grille.
Aerodynamic efficiency is further enhanced with a roof spoiler and air deflectors on the A-pillars. The front cabin’s 80mm extension contributed to the aerodynamic form of the structure.
A unique 800-volt electric axle and dual-motor system, together with a four-speed gearbox designed especially for heavy-duty long-haul transport, are highlights of the eActros. Peak power output is 600 kW (805 horsepower).

Regenerative braking makes it possible to recover lost electrical energy and refuel the battery, all the while reducing the load on the actual brakes.
There are five choices for adjusting the regeneration level, and you may use the one-pedal driving mode to avoid having to brake yourself.
