Alert for New Car Buyers ! Excise Department has Made an Important Decision

Within 15 days of purchase of the new car of any type the Excise Department took a major decision regarding those who did not register the vehicle within 15 days of the purchase.
According to the details, thousands of vehicles across the province including Lahore are not registered even after several months of purchase due to which the excise department is facing loss. Those who do not register will have to pay Double Token Tax.

Earlier, those who did not register on time are also being fined Rs 5,000. Due to unregistered vehicles, the people are not taking the fine serious the department has to bear loss of crores annually and are facing loss. Timely registration will increase the excise revenue. The purpose of doubling the token tax is timely registration. Due to unregistered vehicles, there are revenue as well as security concerns as it is difficult to trace a vehicle without number plates involved in crime.
And the crime is increasing day by day and usually the robbers uses the cars that are not registered and cannot be detect on security cameras and crime is increasing day by day so strict decision need to be taken by the excise department.
