Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance Edition 1 Releases With Exorbitant Price
April 11, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Automotive News
The Mercedes-AMG S63 will continue to use its powerful V8 engine for at least another generation, much to the pleasure of aficionados. We regrettably can’t claim the same with the C63 because it has been downgraded to a four-banger.
Both super sedans are now plug-in hybrids, and the larger of the two is already receiving a unique variant called the Edition 1 that will only be available for a short period of time.
It Features Extra Delights Both Inside And Out And Is Only Available For A Brief Period Of Time
The electrified S63, which is advertised as being fully equipped, has a Manufacture alpine grey uni exterior and is fitted with a set of cross-spoke 21-inch AMG forged wheels.
Additionally, it includes the AMG external Night Package, which adds external highlights in high-gloss black or dark chrome. Other amenities include tinted glass, red brake calipers, and a silver-chrome gasoline filler lid with the AMG insignia.
Mercedes has not yet revealed inside photos, but the Edition 1 includes black Nappa leather seats with red seams that contrast with the black. The sporty steering wheel is also covered in Nappa leather.
The inside of the special edition features a black and red color scheme throughout, and it has a distinctive Edition 1 badge carved in the console as well as an illuminated red AMG emblem on the door sills.
Mercedes will also provide an indoor vehicle cover with a permeable outer layer as a bonus. Scratches and dust shouldn’t be an issue because it is made of a tear-resistant synthetic fabric and has an anti-static woven flannel lining inside.
Price? That amounts to exactly €208,392.80 on the domestic market for the vehicle. It amounts to little more than $228,300 at the current exchange rate, but keep in mind that Germany has a 19 percent VAT. Local deliveries are expected to start the following month.
By buying the V12-powered Maybach S680 4Matic for an eye-watering €230.556.55, German customers may pay even more for an S-Class. With a range-topping price of $229,000 before extras, it is significantly more accessible but still not inexpensive in the US.
Nissan Will Unveil A New Electric Concept Car Next Week
January 27, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Automotive News
On February 1 at 8 PM EST (February 2 at 1 AM GMT), Nissan plans to reveal a concept, but haven’t we seen it already? The YouTube video for the Max-Out, which was first unveiled in late November 2021, is attached.
It will go online the following week. Its next EV, according to the carmaker, would demonstrate what “happens when virtual turns tangible.” Since Max-Out was previously only displayed in drawings, it appears that the vehicle has really been constructed.
Nissan stated the two-seater electric roadster benefited from a “ultra-lightweight” build when the idea was first shown. The Japanese carmaker also mentioned that the car had all-wheel drive, which suggests it had a front and rear electric motor. With its “unique ability to morph the seats, flattening into the floor to give greater internal space when requested,” the sporty EV featured a low center of gravity.
A dual-motor AWD arrangement known as Advanced e-4ORCE, Nissan’s marketing lingo for the setup, was also provided. A Leaf prototype with a combined output of 304 horsepower and 680 Newton-meters (501 pound-feet) of torque was used to debut the hardware in October 2019. That much electric power was enough to provide an acceleration that was “very responsive yet unusually smooth.” There were no technical details given for the Max-Out.
Nissan is ready to unveil the Max-Out in metal, but despite this, we wouldn’t have too high of expectations for a production model. There is more money to be earned in other areas, such as SUVs and trucks, than in the convertible market, which has declined in popularity in recent decades.
It is doubtful that people will rush out and purchase an electric convertible because they are still very much of a novelty. The corporation has larger priorities than developing a droptop Leaf model; turning the Leaf into a crossover for a 2025 introduction is a higher priority.
When the Max-Out first appeared, it was shown next to the Chill-Out as a possible sneak peek of the Leaf crossover. We also observed a boxy Hang-Out hatchback that resembled a future Cube and the Surf-Out single-cab pickup truck.
KLMC would initially solely showcase its vehicles at significant Karachi dealerships. The Kia Stinger and Niro EV are the in question vehicles.
KLMC touted these cars as part of its marketing campaign in late 2020 as well. The collection of aforementioned vehicles plus a Sorento decorated with the #WeAreUnstoppable livery created a lot of excitement online.
For the time being, KLMC will only showcase its vehicles at significant dealerships in Karachi. The Kia Stinger and Niro EV are the vehicles in discussion.
As part of their marketing strategy, KLMC previewed these cars as early as 2020. The aforementioned cars plus a Sorento were decked out in #WeAreUnstoppable livery, which significantly increased online attention.
The Honda HR-V, Toyota RAV4, and other comparable cars are in direct competition with Niro on the market. The Niro EV has two available powertrains:
a single electric motor driving the front wheels with 394 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque and 130 horsepower (hp).
a single electric motor that produces 394 Nm of torque and 201 horsepower for the front wheels.
The 39.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack in the 13 horsepower variant enables a WLTP-approved range of 288 kilometers on a single charge. The 64 kWh lithium-ion battery pack in the 201 horsepower variant offers a WLTP-approved range of 385 kilometers after a full charge.
The Kia Stinger GT, a mid-size executive Sportback that competes with vehicles like the Audi A5, is the second vehicle. The 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine in the GT model produces 368 horsepower and 510 Nm of torque. It has an 8-speed automatic transmission to provide power to the rear wheels or all four axles, depending on the market.
Market reports claim that KLMC has no immediate intentions to introduce the aforementioned vehicles in Pakistan and that this display is only a publicity stunt.

In Pakistan, Honda’s 11th-Generation Civic 2022 Makes Its Debut
March 3, 2022 / By Zunair Tahir / News Pakistan
Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) has officially released the all-new Civic in Pakistan, making the small sedan category in Pakistan significantly more intriguing.
The new Civic was also unveiled in a digital launch, presented by Aamir H. Shirazi, President of Atlas Group, Hironobu Yoshimura, CEO of HACL, and Aamir Nazir, General Manager Sales and Marketing at HACL, who informed the audience about the vehicle’s numerous features.
Unlike the 6th generation Honda City, which was released last year, the 11th-generation Civic is the most recent model on the market, and it outperforms its competitors, such as the Toyota Corolla and Hyundai, in terms of performance and amenities. Even if it comes at a hefty price.
When it comes to style, the new Honda Civic is more conservative than its predecessor, which is a good thing.
With a large bumper grille in the middle and a streamlined primary grille between the headlights, the front end appears dignified but intimidating. The bright Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the newly styled headlights contribute to the intimidating appearance. The overall refinement is enhanced by the lengthened and straightened-out bonnet design.
Along the length of the vehicle, the side profile exhibits clean and basic lines. The 2017 Civic comes with 17-inch black alloy rims (16-inch in basic and mid-level models) in Pakistan, which are more appealing than previous generations.
The ‘European design influence’ is most visible towards the back end. The car’s angular and sharp taillights, straightened-out boot lid, high-up bumper reflectors, center trim down below, and dual oval exhaust tips (in the top grade only) give it a sporty appeal.
Interior Design :
The inside of the 11th-generation Civic has been completely redesigned by Honda. The inside has a luxury vibe thanks to a simple dashboard design, silver trim elements throughout the cabin, and ambient lighting. The premium variant’s inside is black with red stitching, while the base and mid-level models’ interiors are dark grey.
It sports a huge 9-inch infotainment screen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto on the top. The lowest models have soft fabric upholstery, while the premium models have leather upholstery.
The 2018 Honda Civic will be available in three different models. A turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 127 horsepower (hp) and 180 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque will power the base and mid-level models, which will be coupled to an M-CVT automatic gearbox.
The top-of-the-line model also has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 176 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, as well as an LL-CVT automatic transmission.
It has McPherson struts in the front and multi-link coil springs in the rear. It also has disc brakes on all four wheels, as well as an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Brake Assist (BA) system for good stopping power.
According to auto-data.net, the new Civic has a worldwide fuel economy of 14 liters per kilometer; however, values in Pakistan are likely to differ. The new Civic will also be the quickest, most thrilling, and capable vehicle in the country, with a power-to-weight ratio (PWR) of roughly 0.35 hp/kg.
