ABOUT FESTIVAL 2022
Return of TIFF in person in 2022! As we continue to grow, take the lead, and innovate together, we look forward to welcome you back to Toronto to celebrate the power of film. On TIFF’s digital platform, there will be some attention given to online screenings, but the festival’s primary goal is to re-unite fans in person.
One of the most prominent international film festivals in the world is the Toronto International Film Festival®. For 11 days, the best in recent cinema, from well-known auteurs to up-and-coming talent, is screened for moviegoers, filmmakers, business people, and the media. As one of the most significant cultural events in the world, the Festival continuously aims to raise the bar for quality in film programming.
The selection of movies is based on their caliber and creativity. Premieres are given preference. The Festival also fosters connections amongst experts in the field to aid in the growth of the Canadian film industry.
The Festival offers Canadian artists a stage on which to tell their experiences. The Festival, which is continually looking for new methods to facilitate creative and cultural discovery via cinema, has become a landmark destination for the moving picture because to its audacious selection and the intellect and diversity of its worldwide audience.
The Festival consistently maintains a high level of involvement, which is exceptional. As they discuss the craft and business of filmmaking, enthusiastic viewers and filmmakers have access to one another that has never before been possible.
