For The Fourth Time In 2022, Pak Suzuki Have Raise Bike Prices

Following Atlas Honda and Yamaha, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has also raised the price of their motorbikes as a result of the devaluation of local currency.

This is the fourth price increase PSMC has announced for its motorcycles this year. The new ex-factory costs for PSMC bikes as of August 1 are as follows:

Suzuki’s GD 110S, GS 150, GS 150SE, and GR 150 all had starting prices of Rs. 199,000, Rs. 215,000, Rs. 232,000, and Rs. 315,000, respectively, at the beginning of 2022.

This indicates that costs have increased this year by up to Rs. 50,000. Last year, PSMC hiked bike costs four times. Suzuki bike costs increased by much to Rs. 28,000 between January and December 2021.

Two-wheelers are now out of the price range for the majority of purchasers due to the bike industry’s recurrent price increases over the past two years. The bike sector in particular need the government’s attention because of this problem.

People of Pakistan are facing serious economic crisis and the companies are increasing the prices of their bikes day by day and for the local people it is very difficult to afford a good bike now and if u assume that a private job person whose salary is around 40,000/: is not able to afford these Suzuki bikes in this price range he will be forced to buy used bike or that bike whose maintenance is low and parts are easily available in the market.

Masafumi Harano San, managing director of Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC), unveiled many sample products from PSMC in the SUV, MPV, small, and hatchback categories on Friday while addressing at the Pakistan Auto Show.

He emphasized the significance of Suzuki’s “consumer-as-boss” operational model moving ahead and expressed his belief that other industry participants will follow similar perspective.

(PSMC) Has Reportedly Decided To Discontinue Cultus

The Suzuki Cultus will reportedly no longer be sold in Pakistan by Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC). They have been informed by a source that one of the company’s best-selling vehicles would be discontinued in the coming months. According to reports, Cultus will be officially discontinued in the coming months.

Sources claim that the firm intends to highlight the recently released Suzuki Swift as their main offering. The corporation wanted customers to flock to the new Swift because “Cultus was dangling midway between sales of Alto and Swift,” they continued.

According to reports, Alto and Swift sales had an impact on Cultus sales, and the business intended to heavily market Swift while boosting Alto sales.

It further stated that Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) wanted to increase sales of the Suzuki Alto. The Suzuki Alto sold 9,814 units in March 2022, 5,009 units in April, and then a small increase to 5,461 units in May 2022, according to the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA).

The Suzuki Cultus will no longer be sold in Pakistan, but Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has not yet officially announced this. The Suzuki Cultus is one of the company’s best-selling vehicles and was just introduced in 2019, thus it seems quite improbable that they will move forward with the choice.

Pak Suzuki May Debut the New Swift Next Month

Pak Suzuki is expected to unveil the new Swift next month, after a ten-year hiatus. Suzuki will launch the Swift in Pakistan with a 1250cc K12C twin jet inline-4 engine mated to a 5-speed CVT or manual transmission, according to trustworthy sources.
Despite the fact that the Swift, like the rest of the globe, has a 1000cc turbo engine, Pakistan looks to be getting the 1250CC variant.

PSMC is reportedly delaying Alto deliveries to dealerships owing to broken gasoline lines, according to recent market reports. A countrywide recall has also been ordered for recently-built units that have already been sold to customers.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company is rumoured to be planning to phase out its second-generation Swift model in Pakistan, more than 12 years after its introduction, while bookings for the Cultus have been temporarily suspended.

According to a notice provided by the business in August of last year, the Swift, the second-generation hatchback, would be discontinued after August 2021.

The Suzuki Swift’s popularity has waned in Pakistan for the past 12 years, possibly because the firm has made no substantial improvements to the car. In the meanwhile, the firm released other more cheap hatchback choices, such as the new Suzuki Cultus, which has been a huge hit. Furthermore, the car faced competition from other newcomers to the market, such as the Kia Picanto, which drew a large number of consumers despite having a 1000cc engine choice.

Suzuki Prices In Pakistan

The company has made no substantial changes or enhancements to its second-generation hatchback in recent years, resulting in reduced sales. According to the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association, Swift sales have fallen from 5,509 units in 2018-19 to 2,316 units in 2020-21. According to rumours, Suzuki Swift will release a new model in March 2022. As a result, the launch is almost a year away. The new Swift sports the best-in-class lightweight body, based on the next generation platform “HEART TECH.” In 2020, it underwent a makeover with minor aesthetic adjustments. Pakistan, on the other hand, is expected to receive the pre-facelift vehicle.

Suzuki plans to phase out the Bolan minivan and Ravi truck after nearly 40 years and replace them with the 660cc Suzuki Every by 2023.

The news was going in the market that Pak Suzuki will discontinue its famous Bolan & Ravi but it has been confirmed by a reliable sources in the market In 1982/83, Suzuki introduced the Bolan as a Hi-Roof model. “When local assembly at Karachi’s Bin Qasim plant began in 1991, it was called Bolan and its pickup variant Ravi.” it is widely popular among people of Pakistan it fulfills every one needs.

Pak Suzuki, on the other hand, is claimed to be planning to phase out the 800cc Bolan Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) by next year, which would be the model’s 40th year in Pakistan.
