Chinese Company Offers Cheap 5G Phones

Xiaomi, one of the world’s largest smartphone makers, has launched a low-end feature phone for sale in the international market.
According to technology website Gadgets 360, the 195-gram Redmi Note 11S 5G has been launched with a 6.6-inch Full HD display.
It offers good display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, dot display, touch sampling rate of 240 Hz and refresh rate of 90 Hz. The Redmi Note 11S 5G has a MediaTek Dynasty 810 SOC chip set.
With 6 GB RAM comes 128 GB storage which can be expanded up to one terabyte (one thousand GB) with the help of microSD card.
The Redmi Note 11S 5G has three cameras set up. The main camera is 50 megapixels, the secondary camera is 8 megapixels with ultra wide shooter and the third camera is 2 megapixels with micro shooter.
There’s a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front for selfies, v-logging and video calling.
Xiaomi’s own operating system MIUI 13 is based on the Redmi Note 11S 5G, which is based on Android 11.
The security features of the phone include side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while other sensors include infrared blaster, NFC, accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity, compass sensor and ambient sensor.
The Redmi Note 11S 5G is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and is capable of fast charging with a 33 watt ProFast charger. Xiaomi’s midrange phone is marketed in two variants with 4GB RAM with 64GB and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.
The variant with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage is offered for 279 Dollar (51,000 Pakistani) and the 128 GB storage model with 6 GB for 299 Dollar (54,500 Pakistani).
The Redmi Note 11S 5G is offered in three bright colors:
- Midnight Black
- Star Blue
- Twilight Blue shades
