The corporation will form a joint venture (JV) with AKD Group Holdings (Pvt.) limited to build the facility near Port Qasim in Karachi, which would cover about 1000 acres.
The news comes after a team led by Mr. Chen Feng, CEO of Gauss Auto Group, and Mr. Nasir Rizwan, CEO of AKD Group Holding, visited the Board of Investment (BOI) and met with Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain and Secretary BOI Ms. Fareena Mazhar.
The group also stated their ambition to export Pakistani-made electric vehicles to other nations. The company gave a detailed presentation of their manufacturing facility and informed BOI leadership about the many variations of the cars they already produce.
The team was informed by Secretary BOI on Pakistan’s recently introduced Electric Vehicle Policy, which helps both existing and new manufacturers.
The leadership of the BOI encouraged Gauss Car Group to engage in Pakistan’s auto sector and provided the firm with the best possible support and assistance.
