Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance Edition 1 Releases With Exorbitant Price

The Mercedes-AMG S63 will continue to use its powerful V8 engine for at least another generation, much to the pleasure of aficionados. We regrettably can’t claim the same with the C63 because it has been downgraded to a four-banger.

Both super sedans are now plug-in hybrids, and the larger of the two is already receiving a unique variant called the Edition 1 that will only be available for a short period of time.

It Features Extra Delights Both Inside And Out And Is Only Available For A Brief Period Of Time

The electrified S63, which is advertised as being fully equipped, has a Manufacture alpine grey uni exterior and is fitted with a set of cross-spoke 21-inch AMG forged wheels.

Additionally, it includes the AMG external Night Package, which adds external highlights in high-gloss black or dark chrome. Other amenities include tinted glass, red brake calipers, and a silver-chrome gasoline filler lid with the AMG insignia.

Mercedes has not yet revealed inside photos, but the Edition 1 includes black Nappa leather seats with red seams that contrast with the black. The sporty steering wheel is also covered in Nappa leather.

The inside of the special edition features a black and red color scheme throughout, and it has a distinctive Edition 1 badge carved in the console as well as an illuminated red AMG emblem on the door sills.

Mercedes will also provide an indoor vehicle cover with a permeable outer layer as a bonus. Scratches and dust shouldn’t be an issue because it is made of a tear-resistant synthetic fabric and has an anti-static woven flannel lining inside.

Price? That amounts to exactly €208,392.80 on the domestic market for the vehicle. It amounts to little more than $228,300 at the current exchange rate, but keep in mind that Germany has a 19 percent VAT. Local deliveries are expected to start the following month.

By buying the V12-powered Maybach S680 4Matic for an eye-watering €230.556.55, German customers may pay even more for an S-Class. With a range-topping price of $229,000 before extras, it is significantly more accessible but still not inexpensive in the US.
