Wottan Motor’s Latest Scooter, The Storm-R 300

The Storm-R 300, a new sports scooter from Wottan Motor, expands the Storm family of the Spanish company.

It is the 300 cc version of the Storm-R 125, from which it varies in a number of characteristics and provides more in the way of performance and equipment.

While the engine foundation is primarily influenced by Wottan’s other 300 cc Storm models, notably the Storm-S 300, the visual base is mostly shared with the 125.

The standard heated grips, which add extra comfort to a year-round vehicle (and thus also for cold climates), are the main differences from the Storm-R 125, aside from the engine size.

However, there are also backlit handlebar grips for convenience in low light, TFT color instrumentation, keyless start, an aluminum side stand, and an LED lighting system.

Technically speaking, the braking system has been improved over the 125 by adding a second brake disc to the front wheel.

This double disc has a 260 mm diameter and is equipped with four-piston radial-mount callipers, while the disc on the rear wheel is 230 mm. Maximum safety is provided by the two-channel ABS.

The rims are 15 inches wide at the front and 14 inches wide at the back, with tires measuring 120/70 and 140/60, respectively.

In addition, the weight has increased to 172 kilograms, and the seat is positioned 770 millimeters above the ground, which is a very accessible height.

An integral swinging component of the frame, the engine is a 278 cc, four-valve, four-stroke single cylinder with SOHC electronic fuel injection.

The highest output is 24.5 Nm (24.5 lb-ft) of torque at 6,250 rpm and 19.5 kW (26.5 hp) of maximum output power at 8,250 rpm. The highest speed is 140 km/h, with an automated CVT gearbox.

Wheelbase is 1540 mm, fuel tank capacity is 13 litres, and the frame is made of tubular steel. It also includes an inverted fork and two shock absorbers with adjustable preload.

BCB Adopts A Definite Position On The 2023 Asia Cup

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC)’s decision about the 2019 Asia Cup will be supported by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

It should be mentioned that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has refused to send its team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup and is adamant that the competition take place in a neutral location.

However, the PCB has no interest in organizing the tournament outside of Pakistan since doing so would undermine its attempts to bring back international cricket to the nation.

Pakistan Will Host The Occasion

The hybrid plan, put up by the PCB, which saw four of the group stage matches played in Pakistan and the rest of the competition taking place at a neutral site, is also not expected to be approved by the BCCI.

Due to the intense heat, the BCB has previously raised concerns about the UAE being one of the neutral locations.

“We would like to participate in the Asia Cup. We are interested in the competition regardless of the model it is held in. We would have to play there if the ACC says the event will be held in Dubai and the other members concur, BCB Cricket Operations Chairman Jalal Yunus told the local media on Monday.

Since we are concentrating on the World Cup, there is discomfort. We declined to play in Dubai because we were considering our preparations. We are awaiting the ACC’s judgement,” he continued.

Najam Sethi, the chairman of the PCB Management Committee, had urged a logical strategy to resolve the situation, which affects both the country’s participation in this year’s ODI World Cup and the successful hosting of the Asia Cup.
