30th Edition 2024 Kia Sportage Debut With Green Interior

After three decades and the sale of more than six million copies of the first-generation Kia Sportage, the small crossover is receiving a 30th Edition model to commemorate the significant achievement.

The “semi-midsize” model, as described by the firm, was first introduced domestically in South Korea, but it is now a little finer for the 2024 model year. All of the door windows have double glazing, which should make the cabin substantially quieter.

Additionally, side airbags for second-row passengers are standard across the range, making it safer than before. The Sportage 30th Edition is based on the local Gravity model; however, the roof rails, side mirror caps, and door garnish have glossy black elements added to them.

The 18- and 19-inch wheels that are offered for this special edition have a black appearance, much like the front grille and some of the bumpers do.

**2024 Kia Sportage 30th Edition Interior**

The striking green and black color scheme within the two-tone interior is exclusive to the Sportage 30th Edition. With a new quilting design and suede accents, the leather upholstery itself differs from the standard model.

The headrests for the front seats have a 30th emblem stitched on them by Kia to further emphasize the significance of the special edition.

In addition to debuting the Sportage 30th Edition, which is now available for purchase in its home market, Kia also produced a film (linked below) comparing the first and current models.

Additionally, the 1993 and 2021 models are now on show side by side at the Kia 360 center in Seoul alongside a digital exhibition of the transitional generations unveiled in 2004, 2010, and 2015.

It should be noted that, depending on where you reside, the latest Sportage (codenamed NQ5) is available in two sizes. While nations like the United States, Canada, and Australia get the extended variant, Europeans get the shorter wheelbase type.

It surpassed the Rio subcompact hatchback/sedan in 2016 and has since become the company’s best-selling vehicle.
