New BAIC BJ40 Model Unveils With Modern Design

Finally introduced is the BAIC BJ40, second generation. Modern technology is featured in the off-road body-on-frame SUV, including a double screen in the interior, LED lighting, self-driving capabilities, etc.

A body-on-frame SUV from the first generation, the BJ40 is still available in China and other countries.

The first-generation BJ40’s external styling is reminiscent of the Jeep Wrangler, which is not unexpected given that BAIC is best known for its BJ80 SUV, a Mercedes-Benz G-Class clone. One of the first locally produced SUVs to gain popularity in China was the BJ40. However, it desperately needed a new generation, and now it has one.

The second-generation BAIC BJ40 borrows the full-sized SUV BJ60’s current design language, which the brand debuted last year. It is no longer a Jeep Wrangler knockoff; instead, it features an LED grille and rectangular headlamps.

The blocky dimensions and high bonnet line of the second generation remain. Other features include frameless doors, large sideview mirrors, sizable bumpers, and an abundance of plastic body trim. Another intriguing element is the two-piece tailboard. Additionally standard is a swing-out tailboard with a spare tire.

Inside, the new BJ40 is BAIC’s most cutting-edge SUV. In front of the digital instrument panel is a circular three-spoke steering wheel with design cues from the BJ60. A split screen that “floats” over the centre console is the primary feature of the BJ40.

The first display is the touch screen in the Centre console for the driver. The front passenger will receive the second one. Although the screen sizes aren’t known yet, they seem to be enormous.

Under the displays are the vents for the air conditioning and heating. Wireless charging pads, buttons, a retractable gear selector, and cup holders are all located in the center tunnel. The brand-new BJ40 has a five-seat interior, much like the previous model.

A HYCET 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 245 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque is also included.

An eight-speed ZF torque converter automatic gearbox transmits the power to the rear wheels (in normal mode). The drivetrain has a locking differential and a part-time four-wheel drive system.

On August 25, China will launch the pre-sale of the new BJ40 at the Chengdu Auto Show. The cost and other specifics are currently unclear. However, rumor’s claim that it would cost somewhere between Rs. 8 million and Rs. 12 million.

30th Edition 2024 Kia Sportage Debut With Green Interior

After three decades and the sale of more than six million copies of the first-generation Kia Sportage, the small crossover is receiving a 30th Edition model to commemorate the significant achievement.

The “semi-midsize” model, as described by the firm, was first introduced domestically in South Korea, but it is now a little finer for the 2024 model year. All of the door windows have double glazing, which should make the cabin substantially quieter.

Additionally, side airbags for second-row passengers are standard across the range, making it safer than before. The Sportage 30th Edition is based on the local Gravity model; however, the roof rails, side mirror caps, and door garnish have glossy black elements added to them.

The 18- and 19-inch wheels that are offered for this special edition have a black appearance, much like the front grille and some of the bumpers do.

Additionally, the 1993 and 2021 models are now on show side by side at the Kia 360 center in Seoul alongside a digital exhibition of the transitional generations unveiled in 2004, 2010, and 2015.

It should be noted that, depending on where you reside, the latest Sportage (codenamed NQ5) is available in two sizes. While nations like the United States, Canada, and Australia get the extended variant, Europeans get the shorter wheelbase type.

It surpassed the Rio subcompact hatchback/sedan in 2016 and has since become the company’s best-selling vehicle.

There is no more Range Rover Sport SVR. The Range Rover Sport SV will live forever. The final letter of the suffix and the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine created by Jaguar Land Rover are dropped in the new high-performance SUV.

A twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with mild hybrid technology from BMW has taken its place. It generates a staggering 626 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Newton meters) of torque, which is 59 hp and 74 lb-ft (100 Nm) more than it did previously.

The First Locally Assembled Peugeot 2008 SUV in Pakistan Has Showed up

Peugeot Pakistan appears to be on the verge of making its much-anticipated debut, as a new social media video shows the first batch of its 2008 SUVs moving off the local assembly plant in Port Qasim, Karachi.

The Peugeot 2008 is a subcompact crossover SUV built by Stellantis, a French automaker.
In 2013, it was initially launched to the worldwide market. It had a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with a six-speed automated transmission. Depending on the engine size, it also came with a five-speed manual or a six-speed manual transmission.

In 2016, it underwent a makeover, and in 2017, it was upgraded to a six-speed automated transmission (1.2 turbo petrol) The Peugeot 2008 is a subcompact crossover SUV that competes with the Kia Stonic, MG ZS, Proton X50, and DFSK Glory 500 SUV.

Compared to Oshan X7, “Oshan X7 Plus” looks like a bigger and more powerful vehicle. Right hand drive vehicles will also be manufactured and sold in Pakistan.

Last month, Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) released several designs of an SUV without revealing its name. However, it became clear that the firm is planning to introduce a new SUV. Finally, the Oshan X7 Plus, the company’s latest product, has been revealed.

The Oshan X7 Plus appears to be a more substantial version of the Oshan X7. This SUV will compete with the Toyota Fortuner and the Kia Sorento 3rd Generation due to its overall attractiveness and size.

Pakistan will be the first market outside of China to receive the Oshan X7 Plus, according to the manufacturer. Master Changan also intends to export the RHD version of this SUV from Pakistan to other foreign markets.

The SUV will most likely be available in 5- and 7-seat configurations. It will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine from Changan’s newest blue whale series, which generates 178 horsepower and 300 Nm torque and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.23 seconds.

Changan also boasts that this beefed-up SUV would have an incredible 14 kilometres per litre in fuel economy. This is comparable to the average fuel consumption of other basic sedans. With reference to our previous public notice published on 14th of June regarding lockdown in Malaysia imposed since 30th May, has now been further extended by the Malaysian Government till 12th July.

The Lockdown in Malaysia has affected the deliveries of CBU & CKDs to Pakistan as well as Proton other international market.

Al-Haj Automotive is all equipped to start local assembly of Proton vehicles but due to hold-up in the supplies of CKDs caused by covid-19 pandemic, we anticipate a further delay of two months in deliveries.

The G-body Class’s style, which is fully painted in “British Racing Green,” is both aesthetically and technically stunning. The whole aerodynamic system has been overhauled. Starting with the front apron and moving on to the beautifully expanded front wings, widened doors, and finally the rear apron. All of these parts are composed entirely of carbon fibre and are accented with dark grey “Forged Carbon” coatings.

The front portion is finished off with an ultra-light full carbon bonnet in unpainted “Forged Carbon” with extra cooling air vents at the front and sides. The two light-intensive extra headlights on the edge of the roof, as well as the double daytime running lights on both sides of the front apron, are also trimmed in carbon, and complete the overall image of the “GRONOS 2021” gracefully and harmoniously from the front. The luxury tuner Brand equips the “GRONOS 2021” with high-performance tyres in the size 295/30R24 all around to deliver this massive power to the road. They’re mounted on forged rims (type: “YN.5”) with a totally black finish and a 10×24 diameter.

And, as with all MANSORY full conversions, the interior design is no less luxurious as the unique appearance. The interior is finished entirely in “Fawn Brown” coloured leather and uses only the finest materials. A new leather-carbon sports steering wheel, an aluminum sports pedal, dark carbon inlays, and new leather inserts with 3D embossing for the seats, door inserts, and center armrest are just as appealing as the finely embroidered MANSORY emblem in the seats and floor mats. The bookings for Haval H6 and Jolion were stopped again just three days after they reopened owing to a “overwhelming reaction,” according to the firm.

The Haval duo’s bookings were restarted earlier last week with a Rs 200,000 rise in retail pricing, bringing the H6 to PKR 64.95 lakh and the Jolion to PKR 57.25 lac. According to reports, the firm is hesitant to accept a significant number of reservations owing to stock shortages, particularly due to worldwide supply chain difficulties.

It’s worth noting that Haval SUVs will be accessible as CBUs for the time being, as local assembly at the factory has yet to begin..

In an earlier statement, the business stated that it did not want to harm its image with consumers by continuing to accept bookings despite supply chain issues, which might cause clients to wait months for their vehicles to arrive. Haval has taken the same move once again, which is expected to strengthen its reputation among consumers in Pakistan as a trustworthy and transparent carmaker.
