The Alpine A110 San Remo 73 Edition commemorates the company’s first World Rally Championship, which included a triumph at the Italian rally with the same name. Only 200 of these unique models will be produced by the business, and they are being offered in France for $94,500 (or roughly equivalent €89,000). The opening date is March 17.

A 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine powers the San Remo 73 Edition, producing 300 horsepower and 251 pound-feet of torque. This enables it to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds.

The A110’s special variant is the most recent rally-inspired model. Alpine introduced the Tour de Corse 75 in 2022. The model honored its victory at the 1975 Tour de Corse rally, as suggested by the moniker. With a black canopy and some white details, it had a mostly golden body. Only 150 examples were produced by the business, who paid €80,000 for them.

The most current iteration of the type from Alpine, the A110 R Fernando Alonso, retails for $157,127 (€148,000). Only 32 of them are being produced by the company. A Brand-New CFMOTO Three-Cylinder Engine Is In Development

According to recent patents, CFMOTO is working on a new, 675cc three-cylinder engine.

CFMOTO demonstrates that it is interested in developing its own engines for a variety of models, demonstrating that internal combustion engines still have a future.

Despite having extensive expertise with electric motorcycles, the Chinese manufacturer and motorbike industry are still working on traditional combustion engines.

Engine Details:

The patent application’s three-cylinder engine looks to be in the same class as the 450SR sports model’s 449cc two-cylinder. This bike is anticipated to launch a wide variety of versions, including the single-cylinder 450 SR-S and the naked 450NK. Now, CFMOTO will also use the two-cylinder engine as the foundation for the creation of a three-cylinder.

The new three-cylinder engine shares the same design as the 449cc bi-cylinder, according to patent photos. The design of the cam cover and cylinder head appear to be almost identical, but with one extra cylinder added.

The new engine from CFMOTO will be more concerned with low and midrange torque than than high rpm and peak output. But, CFMOTO could easily change the stroke to offer the three-cylinder engine additional displacement and performance if necessary, much as MV Agusta and Triumph modified their engines to achieve 800cc.

The number of engines with more than two cylinders has significantly increased in recent months, thanks to the creation of several four-cylinder designs by companies like QJ Motor, Benda, Loncin, and CFMOTO. In the meantime, QJ Motor has begun producing.

The TNT 899 model in China using Benelli’s 899cc three-cylinder, and Zontes is ready to introduce a sports bike with a three-cylinder engine.

It is rather fascinating to see a combustion engine being developed, maybe with a path to Europe, given that the bulk of two-wheeler sales in China are electric scooters and the Chinese government has been promoting the development of EV versions.

Novitec Offers New Body Kit & Suspension For Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica

The Huracan Tecnica was introduced by Lamborghini in early April 2022, over a year ago. It was modified to fill the gap between the Evo and the STO, and aftermarket expert Novitec is prepared to give some enhancements for the model.

The upgradeable extras from Novitec precisely alter the supercar’s already sporty design. Novitec replaced the front lid with a proprietary part while leaving the front fascia stock at the front.

It has openings on the borders that channel air through the hood using built-in ducts. At high speeds, this aids in balancing the Huracan.

The side rocker panels from Novitec include integrated ducts that cool the rear brakes and assist visually lower the vehicle. By providing aftermarket suspension choices that further lower its ride height, the tuner takes a step further.

The automobile is lowered by 35 millimeters with just one set of performance springs (1.3 inches). The other, an aluminium coilover system created in collaboration with KW, lowers the height of the car by the same amount and has 14 different damping settings.

The 5.2-liter, naturally aspirated V10 engine of the Lamborghini wasn’t touched by Novitec. It continues to produce the same 417 pound-feet of torque and 630 horsepower.

The supercar’s rear wheels receive power from the engine using a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission from the manufacturer.

Owners do have the opportunity to alter the engine’s exhaust tone, though, thanks to the tuner. High-performance exhaust systems are offered from Novitec in stainless steel or Inconel; Inconel is also available with 999 fine gold coating for additional thermal insulation.

The exhaust system incorporates Lamborghini’s Tecnica hexagonal tailpipes.

The Lamborghini Invencible & Autentica One-Offs Make Their Debut At The Pure V12 Finale

We had assumed that the Ultimae would be the final Lamborghini to use a pure V12, but the Invencible and Autentica pair are proving us wrong.

The former, a coupe, and the latter, a roadster, represent the final twelve-cylinder engine models before the advent of the hybrid era. Both are built on the durable Aventador platform, which made its debut with the first LP 700-4 12 years ago.

The Invencible and Autentica combine elements from other previous models, notably the Reventon, in their style. It was a special edition with a limited production that was based on the Murcielago but with an external design that previewed the Aventador. According to Lamborghini, the duo is also inspired by the Veneno, possibly the wildest-looking Aventador clone. The Essenza SCV12, a track-only beast with a 6.5-liter engine tuned to 818 horsepower, has inspired the hood design if it seems similar.

With its emphasis on lightness and hefty rear wing, Lamborghini’s final model with the gas-only V12 pays homage to the Sesto Elemento, which is based on the Gallardo. The unique coupe and roadster sport a complete carbon fibre body with the brand’s enduring hexagonal design. The outside of the Invencible is completed with Rosso Efesto, whereas the exterior of the Autenteica is Grigio Titans. The infotainment system is absent from the interior’s basic dashboard, which also has 3D-printed air vents.

The unusual vehicles make use of the legendary V12’s most powerful version ever used in a Lamborghini road car. A seven-speed ISR gearbox connects the mid-mounted naturally aspirated engine’s 769 horsepower and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque to an all-wheel-drive system, just as the Ultimae. Although specific performance information has not been released, expect a 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) run in 2.8 seconds and a peak speed of 220 mph (355 km/h) to match the Ultimae.

Regarding the cost of the two vehicles, Lamborghini stays silent. But logic tells us they cost much more than an Ultimae’s $500,000 asking price. Since only 350 coupes and 250 roadsters of the LP 780-4 Ultimae were produced, Sant’Agata Bolognese must have charged a hefty premium for that exclusivity given that the Invencible and Autentica were one-of-a-kind vehicles.

The Aventador’s run has definitely come to an end. In the first quarter of 2023, its much awaited replacement will make its debut with an entirely new V12 that is a component of a plug-in hybrid engine. As the Urus will get a PHEV and the Huracan successor will also be largely electric, it will usher in a hybrid revolution. In 2028, an EV will be released, but Rouven Mohr, Lamborghini’s chief technological officer, said that it won’t be a supercar since the technology isn’t yet suitable for a high-performance application.

Few motorcycles have the same cultural impact as the Suzuki Hayabusa. The so-called peregrine falcon, which was one of the wackiest and most outrageous bikes of the period, is credited with starting the so-called speed war between Japanese manufacturers. In fact, the Hayabusa formerly held the record for the fastest motorbike in production.

Moving ahead to the present, Suzuki must face the regrettable truth that the Hayabusa is no longer among the world’s fastest bikes due to increasing emissions regulations.

The Hayabusa was reintroduced in 2021 after a four-year sabbatical, now compatible with Euro 5 requirements but still lacking in terms of speed. The Hayabusa is still no slouch, though.

The Hayabusa sports a powerful 1,340cc in-line four-cylinder engine that produces 190 horsepower at 9,700 rpm and 105 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm. It is liquid-cooled and fuel-injected.

The Suzuki Hayabusa’s suggested retail price in France for 2023 will be 19,199 Euros, or almost $21,000 USD. Please be aware that prices and availability may differ in various markets.

As Orlen Transfers To AlphaTauri & Alfa Romeo Secures A New Sponsor, Kubica Leaves Formula1

Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake will be the name of the Swiss team’s new title sponsor, Stake, an online casino and gambling outfit.

Orlen debuted in Formula One in 2019 while Kubica was a racer for Williams, and the following year he switched to Alfa Romeo. Kubica joined the Swiss team as a reserve and FP1 driver because there was no open race seat. He kept both positions for three seasons.

In 2021, he was given the chance to compete in the Dutch and Italian GPs when Kimi Raikkonen’s COVID-19 test result was discovered.

Before the end of the previous season, there were rumor’s that Orlen would be leaving. At the time, it was believed that the Swiss team had already secured a new title sponsor.

However, there was still a potential that the business might continue, although in a supporting capacity, in a manner similar to how BWT stepped back at Aston Martin in 2021 after serving as Racing Point’s title sponsor earlier.

Instead, Orlen Is Now A Principal Partner At AlphaTauri

Kubica severed connections with Alfa Romeo at the conclusion of the last season, and it’s believed that he won’t be able to drive for the Faenza team. As a result, it’s possible that his FP1 session in Abu Dhabi will be his final time behind the wheel of an F1 vehicle.

Orlen’s plans were inquired about by Autosport that weekend, and he responded: “I don’t know; I don’t want to speak for the others. I’m not in their position; I’m not dealing with the finances. I’m at ease, he declared. “At the end of the day, I have always been extremely practical. Let’s be real here. You shouldn’t be shocked if you can no longer drive at the age of 38. Too many ifs exist, so let’s wait and see before responding.

“I believe that my tale proved that you should never say never. To be quite honest, the fact that I occasionally have the opportunity to drive is the only thing keeping me alive. If I ever stop getting the chance to drive even one automobile, my life may be over.

Stake, the new Alfa Romeo sponsor, is a 2017 startup that already has partnerships with the UFC, Drake, the Everton football team, and Argentine footballer Sergio Aguero.

“We welcome Stake as a new co-title partner for the team in what symbolizes the beginning of a new era for us both,” said Sauber managing director and team spokesperson Alessandro Alunni Bravi.

“Over the past several years, F1 has witnessed a significant surge in interest, and the entry of companies like Stake is indicative of the enormous exposure that our sport can provide.

We are thrilled to be a part of this portfolio of sports and entertainment companies, and we anticipate the fan activation campaign that Stake will introduce.

Nissan Will Unveil A New Electric Concept Car Next Week

On February 1 at 8 PM EST (February 2 at 1 AM GMT), Nissan plans to reveal a concept, but haven’t we seen it already? The YouTube video for the Max-Out, which was first unveiled in late November 2021, is attached.

It will go online the following week. Its next EV, according to the carmaker, would demonstrate what “happens when virtual turns tangible.” Since Max-Out was previously only displayed in drawings, it appears that the vehicle has really been constructed.

Nissan stated the two-seater electric roadster benefited from a “ultra-lightweight” build when the idea was first shown. The Japanese carmaker also mentioned that the car had all-wheel drive, which suggests it had a front and rear electric motor. With its “unique ability to morph the seats, flattening into the floor to give greater internal space when requested,” the sporty EV featured a low center of gravity.

A dual-motor AWD arrangement known as Advanced e-4ORCE, Nissan’s marketing lingo for the setup, was also provided. A Leaf prototype with a combined output of 304 horsepower and 680 Newton-meters (501 pound-feet) of torque was used to debut the hardware in October 2019. That much electric power was enough to provide an acceleration that was “very responsive yet unusually smooth.” There were no technical details given for the Max-Out.

Nissan is ready to unveil the Max-Out in metal, but despite this, we wouldn’t have too high of expectations for a production model. There is more money to be earned in other areas, such as SUVs and trucks, than in the convertible market, which has declined in popularity in recent decades.

It is doubtful that people will rush out and purchase an electric convertible because they are still very much of a novelty. The corporation has larger priorities than developing a droptop Leaf model; turning the Leaf into a crossover for a 2025 introduction is a higher priority.

When the Max-Out first appeared, it was shown next to the Chill-Out as a possible sneak peek of the Leaf crossover. We also observed a boxy Hang-Out hatchback that resembled a future Cube and the Surf-Out single-cab pickup truck.

Honda Debuts Its CB1000R & CB1000R Black Edition Models In Japan In 2023

For the 2023 model year, Honda will continue to produce the CB1000R, a liter-class neo-retro naked sport bike. The bike hasn’t had many technological or feature changes since it first appeared. The 2023 model year won’t be any different, since the sole difference between the ordinary CB1000R and the CB1000R Black Editions is a new color scheme.

The redesigned CB1000R and CB1000R Black Edition will debut in the Japanese market on January 19, 2023, with new Bordeaux Red Metallic and Graphite Black paint jobs, respectively.

The Matte Beta Silver Metallic, Candy Chromosphere Red, and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic finishes are no longer available. For the Black Edition, blacked-out components include the headlamp bezel, fuel tank garnish, upper and lower fairings, and muffler. The CB1000R emblem is also shown in subdued graphics on the gasoline tank.

Performance Details:

On the performance front, the tried-and-true inline-four cylinder engine from the CBR1000RR super sport bike continues to power the CB1000R. With throttle-by-wire technology, four riding modes, and an up-and-down quick-shifter, it keeps up an astounding level of technology. A six-speed manual gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch transfers power to the rear wheels. The 998cc engine generates 77 lb-ft of torque at 8,250 rpm and 143 horsepower at 10,500 rpm.

17-inch alloy wheels with machined spokes, a Showa Separate Function, a Big Piston inverted front fork, and a fully adjustable rear monoshock are a few further standout features. Dual front and single rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS make up the braking system.

The 2023 Honda CB1000R and CB1000R Black Edition will go on sale in the Japanese market on January 19, 2023, with regards to availability and price. While the sleek and sophisticated Black Edition in Graphite Black costs 1,716,000 Yen, or $13,328 USD, the normal CB1000R, which is available in Bordeaux Red Metallic, retails for 1,670,900 Yen, or around $12,978 USD.

Jeddah Will Host The Saudi Arabia F1 Event At Least Through 2027

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which was planned to be the grand prix’s temporary home until it moved to the newly constructed city of Qiddiya on the outskirts of Riyadh, staged Saudi Arabia’s inaugural F1 event in 2021.

However, with a lot of the temporary facilities at the track being converted to permanent ones, Jeddah is now anticipated to host the event for at least another four years while construction on the cutting-edge facility proceeds.

According to Martin Whitaker, CEO of the Saudi Motorsport Company, which organizes the race, “it’s important that we future proof the Jeddah track. For this reason, we have again been working with the FIA and Formula 1 to ensure that we have a circuit that will allow us to stage the sport in Jeddah while work begins on the track in Qiddiya.”

The Qiddiya Automotive Center is being developed to be the best Formula 1 circuit and entertainment venue in the world. Everyone will want to visit Qiddiya since it is a distinctive and fascinating undertaking.

However, Jeddah and the Red Sea shoreline in March will be in the spotlight right now and for the foreseeable future.

After agreeing to a date exchange with Australia, Saudi Arabia is expected to host the opening round of the 2024 Formula One season. This would avoid conflicting with the holy month of Ramadan, which runs from 10 March to 9 April.

Whitaker insisted that more discussions with F1 and the FIA were necessary to determine the precise grand prix scheduling and schedule.

Naturally, it would be difficult to conduct a Grand Prix during Ramadan due to its sacredness, although Formula 1 and the FIA ultimately have the last say in the date of the event the following year.

So, with reference to our 2024 date, we are awaiting information from the promoter and regulatory body. This won’t be disclosed until much later in the year, as usual.

Drivers and team managers held discussions into the early hours of Saturday about perhaps calling off the rest of the weekend, but safety precautions were put in place, and the weekend went on as planned.

Prior to the 2023 race, discussions between race organizers and drivers were held, and Whitaker stated that safety was still of “utmost concern to everyone who attends the race.”

It is our responsibility as a promoter to make sure that fans feel secure while they are in the city and at the track, he continued.

It has been a major goal in the year since the race in March to emphasize this message to the Formula 1 community.

Discussions with the drivers and team principals have been a top priority, and I’d like to believe that the clear messages we and the authorities have sent have given everyone travelling to Jeddah the assurance that Saudi, like so many other races on the F1 calendar, is completely safe and that the hospitality of the Saudi people is foremost in the minds of all visitors.
