In Mandalika, Manuel González established a new category lap record during the opening practice for the Moto2 Indonesian Grand Prix. A red signal caused the session to be stopped for many minutes.

González (Correos Prepago Yamaha VR46 Master Camp/Kalex) had already taken the lead after the opening flying laps.

The Spaniard briefly regained the lead when Alberto Surra (Forward Team) and Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo/Kalex) took the same position before being passed by Arón Canet (Pons Wegow Los40/Kalex).

Acosta was eliminated from contention at turn 14 early on. The bike sustained significant damage, but the rider was unhurt.

Lap timings on the circuit were becoming faster, and after roughly 25 minutes Fermn Aldeguer (Beta Tools SpeedUp/Boscoscuro) reclaimed the lead.

The practice was cut short by a red flag when the Spaniard was in charge for around 15 minutes. The halt was brought on by circuit technical problems.

More leadership changes occurred during the restart. González, Aldeguer, and Canet exchanged positions before González broke the previous lap record in 1m34.871 seconds on his penultimate try.

Jake Dixon (Inde GasGas Aspar/Kalex) came in third, 0.360s behind Canet in second. The final two places were filled by Sam Lowes (Elf Marc VDS/Kalex) and Ai Ogura (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia/Kalex). With his solitary flying lap, Acosta came in 30th and last.

Customers will be able to purchase from newly built specialized Crown dealerships in Tenjin, Fukuoka (Fukuoka Toyota) and Tsuzuki, Yokohama (Weins Toyota Kanagawa). In the near future, three more are expected to start operations: Toyota Mobility Tokyo in Tokyo, Toyota Aichi in Chiba, and Toyota Chiba in Aichi.

It appears that Crown is developing into a sub-brand to set the four models apart from the standard Toyota lineup.

The even finer Century sedan and the recently introduced SUV may only be ordered from so-called Century Meisters found at specific dealerships, thus these four vehicles are not the only ones that are available at select dealers.

All four of the original models will be on display at the Crown dealerships, and potential buyers will be able to test drive them.

While the building’s architecture “expresses the worldview of the Crown brand,” Toyota is constructing opulent lounge rooms and planning networking events for owners. After this initial special edition is released, subsequent Crown models will also produce limited-edition variations with extra knickknacks.

Suzuki, a global manufacturer of cars and motorcycles with its headquarters in Shizuoka, Japan, has achieved an amazing milestone by selling 80 million cars worldwide as of the end of August 2023. Notable alterations included relocated rear door handles, fixed glass in the back doors, and a noticeable character line running from the front to the back. Additionally, Suzuki may provide an electric engine for the vehicle as indicated by the “Hybrid” label on the front fender and the side mirror-mounted cameras.

Indian Diplomats Refusal To Enter UK Gurdwara Called “Disgraceful”

According to the Indian High Commission, “extremist elements” allegedly mistreated the organizers, including a Scottish Parliament member.

According to a fake video going popular on social media, a guy on Friday prevented Vikram Doraiswami, the Indian High Commissioner to the UK, from entering the gurdwara in Glasgow.

Additionally, two males are observed attempting to open the High Commissioner’s automobile door while it is parked. The automobile is then spotted departing Glasgow Gurudwara Saheb’s grounds.

The event occurs in the midst of an escalated diplomatic dispute between India and Canada that was started after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed that “agents of the Indian government” were responsible for the death of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in June.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Indian High Commission in London said that “extremist elements” interfered with an event scheduled by the Gurdwara Committee and that one of them attempted to “violently force open” Mr. Doraiswami’s car door.

“On September 29, 2023, three individuals—all from outside Scotland—willfully interfered with a scheduled gathering that the Gurudwara Committee for the community, the High Commissioner, and the Consul General of India had arranged. In this conversation, community and consular problems were covered, according to the statement.

The High Commission stated that the police should look into the attempt by one of the “non-local extremist elements” to forcibly force open the Commissioner’s car door and noted that only one of the organizers’ quick actions, who physically intervened, prevented what could have been a more serious incident.

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the Metropolitan Police have both been informed of this scandalous occurrence by the High Commission of India, according to the statement. Similar to the ministry of external affairs is the FCDO.

According to the statement, the event’s organizer and other community organization expressed remorse for the incident and encouraged the authorities to take action against the offenders.

According to accounts from Zimbabwean media, a mine shaft collapsed at a gold mine on Friday, killing at least six miners and trapping 15 more.

More than 30 people were trapped after the Bay Horse gold mine collapsed on Friday morning in Zimbabwe’s Chegutu, 100 kilometers (62 miles) west of the capital Harare.

According to Zimbabwean media, 13 miners are now believed to have fled or been saved.

While it is unknown what caused the collapse, efforts to reach people who are still underneath are underway, according to television broadcaster ZBC.

The chairman of the Chegutu Miners Association and the secretary general of the Zimbabwe Miners Federation said they will go to the scene to attempt to find out what transpired.

However, in Zimbabwe, mine collapse-related fatalities have happened before.

Zimbabwe, which has enormous deposits of gold, platinum, and diamonds, frequently has mining accidents. There, mining techniques are frequently crude and safety regulations are largely ignored.
