Takashi Kawaguchi, Nissan’s chief vehicle engineer, and Ashwani Gupta, its chief operating officer, will attend the premiere.

The production specifications Tokyo Motor Show 2007 saw the debut of the Nissan GT-R. Since then, the manufacturer has made various adjustments to the coupe, such as boosting the power output, but the fundamental design has mostly not changed. The business is now advertising the 2024 model, which makes its Japanese premiere on

January 12 at 8:00 PM EST (January 13 at 10:00 AM JST)

As a part of the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon, the 2024 GT-R will be unveiled on the main stage of the Nissan stand at Makuhari Messe. Ashwani Gupta, the automaker’s COO, will participate in the presentation. Takashi Kawaguchi, the chief vehicle engineer, will also talk about the new model, according to Car Watch Impress. Kawaguchi, chief powertrain engineer Naoki Nakata, and brand representative Hiroshi Tamura will talk about the new vehicle later that day.

2023 Nissan GTR

From what Nissan has teased so far, it doesn’t appear like the firm plans to release something as extreme as a next-generation GT-R. The chief engineer of the vehicle, the chief powertrain engineer, and the COO of the carmaker being present at the unveiling ceremony, however, may suggest some revisions to the 2024 model.

Nissan unveiled the 2023 GT-R in the US in October 2022. The business didn’t provide a 2022 model for sale in the US. Instead, the 2021MY vehicle was offered up to the beginning of 2022.

The most recent example to undergo any modifications was the 2021 GT-R. In the exclusive colours Midnight Purple and Millennium Jade light green, that model was offered as the new T-Spec. Additionally, the larger front fenders and carbon-fiber rear spoiler from the Track trim were added to this version.

The Nismo model provided the brake air guides. It has brakes made of carbon ceramic and forged aluminum from Rays. Nissan only allowed 100 units to be produced, and 65 of those were shipped to North America.

According to rumours, Nissan intends to produce a GT-R Final Edition with an engine that produces 575 pound-feet (780 Newton metres) of torque and 710 horsepower (529 kilowatts), matching the GT-R50 by Italdesign. The carmaker would cap manufacturing at a maximum of 20 vehicles.

Ogra granted the requests of the two firms, allowing SNGPL to increase its average gas rates by Rs406.28/mmBtu for the current fiscal year and SSGC to boost its average gas rates by Rs469.28/mmBtu.

With effect from July 2022, the two corporations had sought the regulator for increases of Rs1,294.02/mmBtu and Rs667.44/mmBtu, respectively.

The federal government has been informed of Ogra’s decision, and it is obligated to advise the regulatory authority of the minimum charges and selling prices for each category of retail users of natural gas within 40 days for publication in the official gazette.

The federal government must make sure that the selling prices recommended by Ogra do not go below the firms’ required revenue, as assessed by the authority, according to Ogra’s ruling.

It further said that Ogra will notify the pricing determined in case the federal government would not respond within 40 days.

Two Door Lamborghini Urus Makeover By Mansory

Two Door Lamborghini Urus Makeover By Mansory

January 11, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Automotive News

Lamborghini Urus Gets A Mansory Makeover And Becomes A Two-Door SUV

Mansory enjoys tuning the most potent luxury automobiles imported from Europe. The company’s improvements frequently include a body package and a power-boosting engine tune-up. The Lamborghini Urus’s four doors are converted into a high-riding, two-door coupe in its most recent design, which goes beyond that.

Following several requests through its custom program, Mansory opted to convert the Urus into a two-door SUV. The Venatus Coupe Evo C had significant modifications to complete the conversion, which took the aftermarket expert around a year and a half to accomplish.

Mansory repositioned the B-pillar of the Urus by 200 millimetres (7.87 inches). The front doors increase in length while keeping their regular safety features and getting an outside Y-shaped crease. The tuner also enlarged the back fenders and added new C-pillar intake garnishes along with large side intakes.

That’s on top of the outrageous body package that’s been added to the vehicle, which gives the SUV a bold front end, a sizable wing, a busy diffuser, and many other unique design features.

The Venatus Coupe Evo C was based on Mansory’s Venatus Evo S design. The engine was left unchanged, producing the same 900 horsepower (671 kilowatts) and 811 pound-feet (1,100 Newton-meters) of torque for the two-door. According to Mansory, the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds. It has a top speed of 200 mph (323 km/h), which is 10 mph faster than the standard model.

GALLERY:

Mansory provides a wide selection of customization choices for the inside of the Lamborghini. This illustration has a black trim, a teal cabin, and white stitching. In order for passengers to reach the two back seats, the tuner also installed a folding mechanism to the front seats.

It defies the Urus’s purpose to convert it into a two-door SUV, but Mansory wouldn’t have made it if there wasn’t a market for it. Additionally, the aftermarket expert intends to build 8 Venatus Coupe Evo C SUVs, so this isn’t a one-off. The cost of the Urus modification was not disclosed by the business, but given that the donor Urus begins at about $230,000 in the US, we highly doubt it is affordable.

In The Bangladesh Premier League 2022/23, Azam Khan Sets A Record

January 10, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Sport News

The only wicketkeeper-batsman from Pakistan to record a century is Azam Khan.

Azam Khan, a powerful batsman for Pakistan, sets a record during the current season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2022’s match against Chattogram Challengers.

The first Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman to reach the century mark in BPL history is Azam Khan.

The 24-year-old scored 109 runs off 58 balls, including eight enormous sixes and nine fours. Another Pakistani player from the other team walked out to bat and scored a century during the same game.

Khulna Tigers scored 178 runs in the first innings thanks to Azam Khan’s outstanding effort.

In response, Chattogram Challengers got off to a quick start and chased down the goal with only one wicket lost.

Usman Khan of Quetta batted superbly throughout the whole innings, scoring 103 runs in 58 balls, including ten fours and five enormous sixes.

Remember that in 2012, while he was playing for Barisal Burners in the inaugural Bangladesh Premier League, Ahmed Shehzad became the first Pakistani player to achieve a century in that league (BPL).

Creators of Youtube Shorts Will Start Receiving Ad Money From YouTube

January 10, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Tech News

The eagerly anticipated initiative on YouTube that will let Shorts artists to make money from ads is almost set to launch on February 1.

Creators have until July 10 to follow and accept the terms of the Partner Program agreement that the firm issued.

The “Monetization Modules” that YouTube has released will give creators more control over their YouTube income. For creators to reach their full earning potential, the site advises embracing all modules.

Creators will receive 45% of income after the video-streaming platform takes a 55% cut.

Creators with at least 1,000 followers and more than 10 million views on Shorts over a 90-day period will be able to apply for the Partner Program, the video streaming platform earlier stated in a statement.

The $100 million creator fund will be eliminated with Shorts revenue sharing, although YouTube anticipates receiving more fund revenues than it did with its fund.

While watching Shorts on the Feed, users will see advertisements between each one. At the conclusion of each month, the money made from the advertising will be utilized to compensate music licensing firms and creators through a common pool.

The quantity of musical tracks that creators include in their Shorts will decide how much money is in the creator pool. If there is no music in a clip, the creator pool will receive all of the earnings.

Based on a creator’s percentage of all Shorts views, the streaming platform will decide how the creator pool will be divided.

Creators will receive 45% of the money after YouTube takes its part of 55%.

The Government’s Cheap E-Bike Program: Everything You Need To Know

The Government’s Cheap E-Bike Program: Everything You Need To Know

January 9, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Automotive News

In an effort to save energy and cut carbon emissions, the federal government has developed a plan to produce 100,000 e-bikes in the next 18 months.

The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) is now assessing the program before it is implemented because the plan has not yet been put into action.

The Ministry of Industries and Manufacturing (MoIP) would guarantee the production of at least 100,000 e-bikes in the first 18 months, according to the papers made available to allaboutcars.

To promote the purchase of e-bikes, which are often more expensive than cycles fueled by gasoline, it has proposed Rs. 17.5 billion in subsidies.

According to the initiative, the buyer would pay Rs. 10,000 and the government would contribute Rs. 90,000 toward a down payment for an e-bike with an estimated cost of Rs. 170,000, making a total first payment of Rs. 100,000.

For a commercial loan of Rs. 70,000, the bank will charge an interest rate of Kibor+2 or 19%, or around Rs. 13,300.

The consumer will pay Rs. 4,310 each month under the proposed programme, which is made up of Rs. 2,917 in principal, Rs. 1,109 in interest, and Rs. 284 or 2% in insurance, for a 24-month payment plan offered by the government.

The ministry expects to produce and sell 15,000 e-bikes in the current fiscal year 2022–2023, 60,000 and 100,000 e-bikes in the next budget years 2023–2024, and 100,000 e-bikes in the following fiscal year 2024–2025, for a total of 175,000 e-bikes produced in three years.

The following people can use the e-bike program:

  • students whose parents are employed.
  • 20% quota for female employees and students.
  • (1% quota) Transgender people.
  • workers in the government.
  • salaried or self-employed persons in the private sector who have NTNs and bank accounts.
  • pensions from the government and armed forces.
  • Imam-e-Masjid, Hafiz-e-Quran, and Muazzins who possess the necessary qualifications from a facility approved by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and recognized by the Pakistani government.

The government and customers both contribute Rs. 100,000 to the subsidized leasing scheme, while banks lend Rs. 70,000 with a 50% credit guarantee from the government. The government would probably introduce this scheme in Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Lahore, and Karachi, according to a media source.

The Sindh High Court Orders The FIA & PTA To Remove Any Offensive Content Made Regarding Star Kubra Khan

January 9, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / Celebrity News

She complained about “defamatory, harmful” claims made about her and three other actresses in a case she filed against YouTuber Adil Farooq Raja.

On Thursday, the Sindh High Court ordered the Federal Investigation Agency and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to stop spreading false information online against actor Rabia Iqbal, aka Kubra Khan.

The temporary ruling followed a plea Khan filed in response to “derogatory, defamatory, malicious, inflammatory, hazardous and sensationalizing charges” made on social media networks by YouTuber Adil Farooq Raja against her and three other actresses.

Following a preliminary hearing of the case, a two-judge panel made up of Justice Salahuddin Panhwar and Justice Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan sent notices to the director general of the FIA, the chairman of the PTA, and others for January 9.

The bench postponed the hearing and instructed the authorities to submit their separate remarks by the following date.

Khan stated in her court filing, which she also posted online, that a YouTuber who identified himself as a rights activist and former army commander had fabricated claims and denigrated the four actors.

The bench further instructed the authorities to submit their pertinent views by the next date and adjourn She said that by claiming that the actors were “employed by intelligence services and the establishment to entice politicians into compromising positions at their safe homes,” the individual was insulting the actresses’ modesty and dignity.

According to the petitioner’s attorney, Raja addressed the situation in a subsequent video and withdrew his earlier statement. Nevertheless, the counsel said, “during the process it irreversibly damaged the reputation of the actresses including the petitioner and on account of the information published in the social media sites and cyber space.” the hearing was turned.

He begged the court to order the PTA and FIA to take swift action against the offenders in accordance with the law and spirit of the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, which was passed in 2016. Additionally, the court was requested to instruct the authorities to launch an investigation.

The petition was started in response to Raja’s December 31 release of a video in which he made numerous broad accusations against the previous high brass of the army. Raja, who himself as a geopolitical analyst and rights activist on Twitter, is the author of the petition. One claim was that four “elite models and actresses” would socialize with politicians and former authorities. Other than saying it was provided to him by “sources,” he was unable to provide any evidence to support his assertions.

Raja asserted on Twitter that he hadn’t slandered Khan, citing his “condemnation” of the irrational conjecture that followed the release of his video as proof. He claimed that by specifically mentioning him in her post, she was defaming him.

When other famous people stood up for Khan and denounced the character assassination of one of their own, the situation became more tense.

As China Prepares For A Reopening, Travel Restrictions Are Increasing

As China Prepares For A Reopening, Travel Restrictions Are Increasing

January 6, 2023 / By Zunair Tahir / World News

Few days before China removes border restrictions and ushers in an eagerly anticipated resumption to travel for a populace that has been mainly confined to its home for three years, more nations around the world are requiring travellers from China to do Covid tests.

As of this coming Sunday, China will no longer compel incoming travelers to undergo quarantine. This is the most recent renunciation of its “zero-Covid” rule, which was put in place last month in response to protracted demonstrations over oppressive mass lockdowns.

However, the sudden shifts have made many of China’s 1.4 billion people vulnerable to the virus for the first time, sparking an infection wave that is overrunning certain hospitals, depleting the shelves of pharmacies of medication, and raising anxiety throughout the globe.

More than a dozen nations, including Greece, Germany, and Sweden, demanded Covid testing on Chinese travellers on Thursday after the World Health Organization said that China’s official viral statistics was understating the full scope of the outbreak.

Chinese officials and state media have adopted a confrontational stance, defending the outbreak’s management, downplaying the seriousness of the spike, and criticizing restrictions on people’ travel outside.

The Global Times, a publication of the official People’s Daily of the ruling Communist Party, said in an editorial late on Thursday that “certain Western media and some Western politicians will never be happy, no matter how China decides to deal with the Covid-19 crisis.”

The move to require testing of visitors from China has drawn criticism from the international aviation sector, which has been harmed by years of pandemic restrictions. After January 8, China will continue to demand pre-departure testing for visitors.

Some Chinese people believe the reopening was rushed.

“They need to have done a number of things before opening up… a 70-year-old man who identified himself only as Zhao told Reuters in Shanghai that they should “at the very least make sure that the pharmacies were adequately stocked.”

Five further Covid fatalities were recorded on China’s mainland on Thursday, raising the country’s official viral death toll, which is among the lowest in the world at 5,264.

But it runs counter to the reality on the ground, where hospitals are overflowing with elderly people on respirators and funeral homes are understaffed.

According to the Shanghai Morning Post, more than 200 cab drivers in Shanghai are also operating ambulances to accommodate the demand for emergency services.

These optimism, together with government initiatives to support the country’s struggling real estate market, helped the Chinese yuan rise on Friday.

The Shanghai Composite Index and China’s blue-chip CSI300 Index have both increased by more than 2% in the first trading week of the year.

Herald van der Linde, director of equities strategy for HSBC in Asia Pacific, wrote in a note that while the re-opening is “expected to be a rough affair with growing COVID-19 cases and more taxed health systems,” “we economists anticipate growth momentum across Asia to gather pace, driven by China.”

The mainland is also scheduled to open the border with its special administrative territory of Hong Kong on Sunday, for the first time in three years, in anticipation of the significant Lunar New Year celebrations later this month.

On the same day, ferry service between the city and Macau, the epicentre of gambling, will restart.

Cathay Pacific Airways of Hong Kong said on Thursday that it will more than treble its number of flights to mainland China. Flights to and from China are still just a small portion of what they were before Covid.

Over the vacation, authorities anticipate 2.1 billion passenger travels by land, sea, and air, more than twice the 1.05 billion trips made during the same time last year.
