Kawasaki Germany is introducing a very limited-edition Ninja ZX-10RR WSBK Edition for the 2024 model year that goes beyond just colour and decorations.

These bikes are expertly manufactured by the Kawasaki Racing Team at its Friedrichsdorf headquarters and include a variable air intake system to closely mimic the World Superbike machines they imitate. Only ten of these duplicate devices will ever be produced and offered for sale to the general public.

Pankl Racing Systems provides the 998cc inline four-cylinder engine with some essential internal upgrades, such as lightweight pistons and titanium connecting rods.

These bikes will also have a unique WSBK Edition package that is packed with goodies including autographs from Kawasaki WSBK riders Jonathan Rea and Alex Lowes, a glass block with a laser-etched picture of the bike, a personalized key fob, and an I-clip.

This bike costs €33,145 in Germany, which includes VAT at the rate of 19%. As of August 28, 2023, that is equivalent to around $35,824. To put that into perspective, the normal 2024 Ninja ZX-10RR costs EUR 29,995, or around $32,416.

New BAIC BJ40 Model Unveils With Modern Design

Finally introduced is the BAIC BJ40, second generation. Modern technology is featured in the off-road body-on-frame SUV, including a double screen in the interior, LED lighting, self-driving capabilities, etc.

A body-on-frame SUV from the first generation, the BJ40 is still available in China and other countries.

The first-generation BJ40’s external styling is reminiscent of the Jeep Wrangler, which is not unexpected given that BAIC is best known for its BJ80 SUV, a Mercedes-Benz G-Class clone. One of the first locally produced SUVs to gain popularity in China was the BJ40. However, it desperately needed a new generation, and now it has one.

The second-generation BAIC BJ40 borrows the full-sized SUV BJ60’s current design language, which the brand debuted last year. It is no longer a Jeep Wrangler knockoff; instead, it features an LED grille and rectangular headlamps.

The blocky dimensions and high bonnet line of the second generation remain. Other features include frameless doors, large sideview mirrors, sizable bumpers, and an abundance of plastic body trim. Another intriguing element is the two-piece tailboard. Additionally standard is a swing-out tailboard with a spare tire.

Inside, the new BJ40 is BAIC’s most cutting-edge SUV. In front of the digital instrument panel is a circular three-spoke steering wheel with design cues from the BJ60. A split screen that “floats” over the centre console is the primary feature of the BJ40.

The first display is the touch screen in the Centre console for the driver. The front passenger will receive the second one. Although the screen sizes aren’t known yet, they seem to be enormous.

Under the displays are the vents for the air conditioning and heating. Wireless charging pads, buttons, a retractable gear selector, and cup holders are all located in the center tunnel. The brand-new BJ40 has a five-seat interior, much like the previous model.

A HYCET 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 245 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque is also included.

An eight-speed ZF torque converter automatic gearbox transmits the power to the rear wheels (in normal mode). The drivetrain has a locking differential and a part-time four-wheel drive system.

On August 25, China will launch the pre-sale of the new BJ40 at the Chengdu Auto Show. The cost and other specifics are currently unclear. However, rumor’s claim that it would cost somewhere between Rs. 8 million and Rs. 12 million.

Lanzador Concept Teases First All-Electric Lamborghini

Lamborghini announces a concept “ultra GT car” that will someday become its first all electric vehicle as it continues to advance into the electric age following the introduction of its planned Revuelto plug-in hybrid super sports car. The Lamborghini Lanzador has arrived.

The Lanzador is a 2+2 coupe that mixes influence from the super-sports-coupe-on-stilts Huracan Sterrato and the long (almost 197 inches from bumper to bumper) Urus SUV. The end result is what Lambo is dubbing an extreme GT, which is a full-size luxury cruiser with the room, comfort, and quiet operation of a sports car. The prototype vehicle’s liftback design and raised ride height, however, give it a hint of active lifestyle utility flavor. If you’ve heard this one before, stop me.

At Monterey Car Week 2023, the Lamborghini Lanzador Concept Will Make Its Debut

I chatted with Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini’s Design Lead, who emphasized how the Lanzador makes use of distinctive Lamborghini design cues like the greenhouse and shoulders that are squared off, the single roofline that sweeps from the nose to the tail, and the cab-forward proportions.

The ultra GT’s goal of being a comfortable, luxurious commuter and the realities of designing around an electric battery pack contributed to the Lanzador’s large size and tall ride height, but the automaker was still able to produce a car with a surprisingly low seating position and, hopefully, a driving experience reminiscent of the Revuelto.

The Lanzador’s multi-genre architecture is supported by a network of performance systems that is very adaptable and configurable. CEO Stephan Winkelmann hinted to an expected power output of over a megawatt (over 1,341 horsepower) through the concept’s wheels using a full-electric all-wheel drive system.

It was later revealed to me in an interview by Lambo CTO Rouven Mohr that the Lanzador is most likely going to remain with two electric motors rather than three or more, since this is what the brand’s engineers believe to be the ideal number for power, weight, packaging, and driving experience.

The crazy aerodynamics of the Lanzador piqued my curiosity the most. In order to accomplish the Lanzador’s goal of being a grand tourer that drivers will have to deal with on a daily basis, according to Mohr, it was necessary to conceal one of the most sophisticated active aerodynamics systems I’ve ever seen inside and beneath the EV’s silhouette.

When more downforce is required, motorized aerodynamic components in the bumpers, front splitter, and rear diffuser instantly deploy. To minimize drag, under-hood louvres pull high-pressure air from the wheel arches. To direct air over or through the spoiler built into the rear decklid, carbon-fiber strakes sprout from each side of the rear skylight.

Even the headlights have air passages to channel air over and through other aerodynamic components that are tucked away on or beneath the hood.

The Lanzador’s transformation from a low-drag cruiser to a high-downforce performance, with the aerodynamic components deploying and the suspension locking in, is something like witnessing a Transformer in action, but Mohr was most pleased with the company’s upcoming Integrated Control software.

Hardware won’t affect the game in the future, claims Mohr. “You need a certain amount of hardware, but the Integrated Control system is the game-changer because it determines how the automobile is responding. We use [software version] 3.0 in our first electric car, which means we combine all active systems, including active aerodynamics. We also have a lot more options for steering the electrical model, which will help us drive very well.

Lamborghini anticipates that this Integrated Control version 3.0 will also incorporate machine learning and artificial intelligence technology to adapt to the driver and the driving conditions.

For instance, it might predict grip based on data from the sensors and adjust the torque distribution of the electric motors, or it might observe the driver’s behavior on a long, straight stretch of highway and modify the aerodynamics and suspension for greater range and comfort. Driver assistance technology will also receive more attention on the Lanzador, and piloted and automated driving technologies are expected to debut.

After three decades and the sale of more than six million copies of the first-generation Kia Sportage, the small crossover is receiving a 30th Edition model to commemorate the significant achievement.

The “semi-midsize” model, as described by the firm, was first introduced domestically in South Korea, but it is now a little finer for the 2024 model year. All of the door windows have double glazing, which should make the cabin substantially quieter.

Additionally, side airbags for second-row passengers are standard across the range, making it safer than before. The Sportage 30th Edition is based on the local Gravity model; however, the roof rails, side mirror caps, and door garnish have glossy black elements added to them.

The 18- and 19-inch wheels that are offered for this special edition have a black appearance, much like the front grille and some of the bumpers do.

It should be noted that, depending on where you reside, the latest Sportage (codenamed NQ5) is available in two sizes. While nations like the United States, Canada, and Australia get the extended variant, Europeans get the shorter wheelbase type.

It surpassed the Rio subcompact hatchback/sedan in 2016 and has since become the company’s best-selling vehicle.

A Ferrari Purosangue Scale Model By Amalgam May Cost Up To $20,795

Using its long-standing partnership with the Italian sports vehicle and supercar maker, British scale model specialist Amalgam Collection has unveiled a tiny replica of the Ferrari Purosangue, although at a very high price.

Amalgam employed hundreds of carefully constructed pieces, including castings, photo-etchings, and CNC-machined metal components, along with genuine CAD blueprints, color codes, and material specifications from Ferrari to produce the 1:8 scale Purosangue.

The outcome is fantastic, and if you were to only look at pictures, you may mistake the scale model for the genuine automobile.

The Amalgam Ferrari Purosangue, which is over 24 inches (62 centimeters) long, took more than 3,000 hours to create, and each of the 199 hand-built pieces took more than 300 hours to build.

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the German sports car manufacturer Porsche, the company has introduced a Speedster version of its outstanding Vision 357 concept.

The spectacular drop-top design, on display at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, is based on the 918 GT4 e-Performance prototype, which generates 800kW and has a dual-motor setup.

This enables the 357 Speedster to accelerate quickly from 0 to 62 mph in less than 3.0 seconds.

The GT4’s 82kWh battery is divided into many packs for improved weight distribution. In the “frunk,” in the transmission tunnel, and behind the driver, there are many packs. This configuration likely applies to the 357 Speedster as well.

Porsche hasn’t completely divulged the weight of the Speedster, but given that it’s a show car, the 357 is anticipated to weigh somewhat more than its closely related GT4 e-Performance sister, which is believed to weigh approximately 1600kg.

One carbon fiber bucket seat can be found within the vehicle, which Porsche says is “fully tailored to the driver”. The seat is really part of the Speedster monocoque, with the driver seated on Racetex pads and restrained by a Miami Blue-finished six-point harness.

The 2024 Genesis G90 Is Launched In Europe With Two Different Wheelbase Sizes

Genesis is releasing the second-generation G90 to Europe, better late than never. The flagship sedan made its debut in South Korea in late 2021 before making its way to the United States in early 2022. In the year 2023, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the luxobarge is celebrating its European debut.

Although complete information about the vehicle won’t be released until later, the stately saloon is now accessible in Germany and Switzerland.

The G90 will be offered in two wheelbase sizes by Hyundai’s premium division for sale in Europe; the SWB will feature four or five seats while the LWB will only be available as a four-seater.

The most luxurious one comes with individual heated and ventilated back seats that also include leg and footrests and a massage feature. The extended model offers roughly 7.5 inches (190 millimeters) more legroom for passengers seated in the back than the SWB.

It’s interesting to note that Genesis claims to have made a “significant investment” to modify the G90 for Europe, where the premium brand also offers the G70 Shooting Brake that we don’t have access to in the US. Additionally, the vehicles sold on the Old Continent will be “luxuriously specified,” so anticipate a lengthy list of standard features to better compete with the Maybach S-Class.

The engine lineup is one of the puzzle’s unfinished pieces. In spite of this, we’ll just remind you that the US-spec vehicle features a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that can be had with an electronic supercharger as an option. The more powerful engine produces 409 horsepower and 549 Nm (405 lb-ft), while the standard engine has 375 horsepower and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft).

A first look photograph from Brad Pitt’s much awaited Formula One movie has been released by Apple Studios.

The unnamed movie takes place in the realm of competitive motor racing and also stars Snowfall actor Damson Idris in a key role. Pitt plays a former Formula One driver who joins Idris’ character to compete for the fictitious APXGP team, a mediocre outfit.

The film will be filmed on and around real Grand Prix racing weekends as part of an F1-sponsored production. The idea aims to capitalize on the current interest in Formula One racing, which has been stoked by Netflix’s gripping docuseries Drive to Survive.

The Top Gun: Maverick creative team, including director Joseph Kosinski, writer Ehren Kruger, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, reunite for the movie. Tobias Menzies (Outlander, The Crown) and Oscar winner Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin) are also included in the cast.

The drama is made by Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment, and Sir Lewis Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films company, which has won seven F1 championships.

The Hollywood Reporter said in June 2022 that the agreement for Apple’s F1 function has the potential to revolutionize the entertainment industry. The creative team will be compensated in three ways under the special agreement, which asks for a significant theatrical window and a broad distribution, including upfront compensation, significant buyout fees, and theatrical backend.

According to THR, the film would have an exclusive, worldwide run of at least 30 days (one source claims it may possibly go as high as 60 days) before being released on the Apple TV+ platform, as opposed to a token release in a few theaters or a day-and-date debut.

The forthcoming thriller Wolves, directed by Jon Watts, also stars George Clooney, Amy Ryan, and Brad Pitt. The F1 movie marks Pitt’s second leading role for Apple.

Hollywood’s studios and streamers engaged in a fierce bidding battle for Wolves as well.

The inaugural official photos posted by Apple Original Films provide a first glimpse at the APXGP’s style and color palette.

The New Peugeot E-208 Gets Sporty New look And 248 Mile Range

Order books for the new Peugeot E-208 will open this fall. The electric hatchback will have a new electric motor, a greater range, and a more modern, dynamic external design.

The first-generation E-208 was introduced with a 100kW electric motor and 50kWh battery, providing a range of up to 217 miles, as a competitor to the Renault Zoe and Honda E.

The E-208 received a mid-life upgrade in 2021 that included a heat pump and a new transmission, helping to boost its range to 225 miles.

With a 51kWh battery and 115kW electric motor, the new electric supermini can go up to 248 kilometers on a single charge.

A 20–80% charge is anticipated to take a 100k quick charger around 25 minutes, or a 7kW home charger about 4 hours, 40 minutes.

The new brand logo has been entirely integrated into the front end, and the front grille has been styled to match the body color of the previous generation vehicle. LED lighting is commonplace.

The revised e-208 receives the same three-claw light signature as its e-2008 brother, which consists of three integrated, long vertical lights. The lights have been moved to the car’s outside border to give it a wider stance.

Additional improvements have been made to the back, which now has a distinctive three-claw light signature made up of red LED lights aligned horizontally.

White ‘E’ patterns are scattered around the bodywork of the new e-208 to match Peugeot’s electric vehicle lineup. Not only has the bodywork been changed, but there are also two new wheel designs for the E-208 that come in 16- and 17-inch alloy sizes.

The company’s most recent i-Connect infotainment system, controlled by a 10″ touchscreen display mounted on top of the dashboard, is housed within the stylish new E-208. GT variants come included with a 3D display.

Behind Peugeot’s small steering wheel is a digital display, a design element that has come to represent the company.
Thankfully, Peugeot hasn’t completely abandoned physical buttons just yet, and a number of features, including air conditioning, are simple to use.

The electric hatch now has a variety of innovative driver assistance systems, including as adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking, road sign recognition, and lane keep assist.

Active, Allure, and GT are the three trim levels that are initially offered. New front and rear light signatures as well as an upgraded 10″ touchscreen are included with the Active trim, which is the base model. If you choose the top-of-the-line GT trim, full LED headlights, 17-inch alloys, and a high-definition parking camera are included.

Peugeot has not yet announced the price of the electric supermini, but we anticipate it to start at about £32,000.
