Pakistan Exports Its First Locally Assembled Vehicle

Under the new Auto Industry Development and Export Policy, Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) has become Pakistan’s first carmaker to export a vehicle (AIDEP 2021-26). To assist promote the local sector and enhance the country’s export capabilities, the new auto policy encourages all original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to export locally assembled or produced automobiles.

2022 Changan Price List In Pakistan

The Changan Oshan X7 is the country’s first export unit under the new program. It’s also Pakistan’s first car to make its worldwide right-hand drive (RHD) debut, which MCML hosted in Karachi in March 2022. Outside of China, Pakistan is the only country that produces the Changan Oshan X7.

The first device has been shipped to an Oceania market. It made the news during a ceremony held earlier today at its Karachi assembly factory. The CEO and executives of the firm were present at the shipping-off event, which marked Pakistan’s first automobile export.

Alsvin Bookings Resumed By Changan

Danial Malik, MCML’s CEO, commented at the time:

We are delighted and proud to lead Pakistan into a new chapter in the auto industry and make its mark on a global level. The Changan Oshan X7 is the first of many more vehicles to be exported under our vision to stay Future Forward, Forever, and the Auto Industry Development and Export Policy (AIDEP 2021-26).

In March 2022, MCML released Oshan X7 in Pakistan. It boasts Changan’s newest 1.5-liter turbocharged bluewhale Euro-6 petrol engine, which delivers 300 Newton metres of torque and 185 horsepower to the front wheels via a 7-speed DCT automated transmission.

It’s one of Pakistan’s few passenger cars with modern technologies including adaptive cruise control, collision warning, and auto braking.

Changan recently celebrated the delivery of 150 Oshan X7 vehicles throughout Pakistan. The midsize SUV now starts at Rs. 6,050,000 and goes up to Rs. 6,350,000, after a recent price increase. Even at its present price, the Oshan X7 is the most affordable and well-equipped SUV in its class.

Apple has announced that the iPod Touch, a music player that was warmly hailed for revolutionizing how people listen to music, would be discontinued.

The initial iPod, released in 2001, had a 1,000-track capacity. Apple’s streaming service now has over 90 million songs available.

The iPod Touch was created by the same team that eventually created the iPhone, which swiftly surpassed the iPod in popularity.
The iPod was last updated in 2019.

Various iPod versions have been developed throughout the years, including the Nano and Shuffle, but the iPod Touch was the last to be discontinued in 2007.

Apple said it will be available for purchase “while supplies last.”

Alsvin Bookings Resumed By Changan

Master Changan Motors Restricted (MCML) is still juggling a high demand for Alsvin with a limited supply. Due to a shortage of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits from China, the business had to suspend bookings for their most popular vehicle.

However, in a recent encouraging development, MCML has reopened Alsvin bookings across Pakistan. According to a credible source, the corporation will only accept reservations for a restricted number of automobiles.

The corporation has given each dealership a “extremely minimal” monthly delivery target, according to the source. He noted that the bulk of units in that quota had already been booked a month previously, implying that each new dealership will only accept a few new bookings before suspending them the next day.

Within 1.5 years of its start, MCML celebrated the delivery of the 10,000th Alsvin unit. To commemorate the event, the manufacturer is offering a 5-year/150,000-kilometer (whichever comes first) extended warranty on Alsvin purchases.

Despite recent price increases, MCML continues to enjoy robust demand for Alsvin as a result of its superior value offer compared to its competitors.

It’s been a long time coming–more than a decade, in fact–but the Avatar sequel is finally here. The film will be released later this year under the title Avatar: The Way of Water. On April 27, the first footage from the long-awaited sequel was shown at the CinemaCon exposition in Las Vegas. The trailer for the film has now been available online.

The movie shows the breathtakingly magnificent landscapes of Pandora, an Earth-like habitable extrasolar moon of the Alpha Centauri gas giant Polyphemus, which was also the location of the original film. The ocean or water is featured prominently in a number of scenes. The Na’vi appear once more. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) are also back. This time, though, they appear to be accompanied by a group of younger, cuter copies of themselves, who appear to be their offspring.

The blueness of it all spreads throughout the trailer. “Wherever we go, our family is our stronghold,” Jake says at one point in Avatar 2, which looks aesthetically spectacular and promises to be more family centred.

Group 14 Technologies, a US-based firm known for its revolutionary contributions to lithium-silicon battery technology, has received $100 million in a series C fundraising round from the German automotive giant. Group 14 is actively working on worldwide plans to manufacture anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.

The business plans to use the funding to develop high-quality, commercially accessible battery cells. These cells are thought to have uses in small-scale manufacturing, motorsports, and high-performance cars.

Pakistan Is Expected To Increase The Price Of Electricity By PKR3.15 Per Unit

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has received a petition demanding a Rs3.15 per unit rise in power prices in March 2022 due to changes in fuel prices.

The application was sent by the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA), and it will be heard by Nepra on April 27. If the raise is accepted, the public would be saddled with a Rs30 billion charge.

According to the CPA’s appeal, a total of 10 billion units were produced in March at a cost of Rs94 billion.

On April 21, Pakistani Internet Users Will Experience Slow Speeds

In March, the CPPA notified the regulatory body that the per unit cost of power generated from thermal oil was Rs22.52, while the cost of energy generated from LNG was Rs14.36.
