What fresh functionality is Meta planning to provide its users?

Users of Facebook and Instagram may now access, create, and switch between many identities and profiles within the two apps thanks to new functionality made available by Meta, the parent company of both platforms.

Users must add both accounts to the same Accounts Centre in order to enjoy the services.

Users will be able to browse both profiles in one location thanks to the new capabilities, according to Meta. In order to be informed about activity on both platforms, they may also view notifications for each profile.

Globally, Meta is testing this function on iOS, Android, and the web.

Users will be able to log in and create new accounts on Facebook and Instagram using the newly implemented account registration and login experience.

New users can register for an account and join up for multiple platforms using that account. Additionally, users who have accounts on both Facebook and Instagram can access the second app using their login credentials from the first.

Their accounts must be in the same Accounts Center for this to be possible. On both iOS and Android, this functionality is undergoing worldwide testing.

Users must go to mail.google.com to use this mode. The IT juggernaut advises starting by adding the Google link to your bookmarks.

Notably, the administrator will need to alter the settings if your Gmail is connected to your school or workplace account. The stages listed below can be easily followed by the others.

Before moving on to the instructions, it is important to know that Google has said that Gmail offline will only function on Google Chrome while you are surfing normally, not incognito. Here’s how to activate Gmail offline mode, as described by Google:

Although disabling read receipts is a standard privacy setting, many users might not be aware that they can go much farther. You can disable your “last seen” option with the touch of a button, and it’s simpler than you may imagine.

How to turn off the ‘last seen’ feature

How do you disable WhatsApp’s last seen feature, then?

Go to Settings > Account > Privacy after opening your app on a mobile device.

The ‘last seen’ option should be found.

Then, three options are presented: everybody, my contacts, and nobody.

If you select “nobody,” nobody will be able to tell if you are currently using WhatsApp or when you last used it.
